Can I sub Arborio for long grain in 'porcupine' meatballs?

I just discovered I am OUT of long grain white rice and looking to sub something from the pantry. I have:
Arborio
Zatarains Red Bean and Rice Mix (I could pick out the beans, but the seasoning is already in it)
Zatarains Carribbean Rice (pineapple and coconot? Ew for this)
Regular Long Grain Brown rice (could I par boil it?)
and I have plain Orzo (smaller meatballs and cook for a shorter time?)
Or should I just scrap the whole idea and make Meatloaf?
Thanks!
