Thanks Les for replying. I guess I felt desperate for light and the electrician said the only light he could give me was a plug in the wall with track lighting and my biggest fear is if one day I sell and no one wants my home since I would have track lighting in my living room. Les since I have a part-time employee, I showed pics for you of my office and the area behind the supply cabinets she sits. I thought of the exact set-up you had in mind and it would only work if I worked all the time by myself and my employee did not need her own private area to work. I like the idea of visiting a lighting store with pics to show them and ask for advice. Parma42, the lamp is growing on me and I no longer find the chrome distracting but now I worry if it has too much light. If I click the switch once, 2 bulbs come on, clicking twice, has three bulbs come on and clicking 3X has all four bulbs come on that is a lot of light. Maybe I am now doing overkill with the light. First I have a dim room but it is good for my computer and now I will have so much light. Thanks Michelle for repying. Yes, I prefer a bushed finish also. I wish there would be a fixture in the ceiling so that my room would have some ambient light so I would not need light that bounces off of the ceiling to feel I am not sitting in the dark. I am wondering if I need reading glasses and that is why all of a sudden I feel I need more light? Maybe I am borderline at age 46?

I've recently lost some pictures that I had stored on my PC with Kodak software. Does anyone know if there's a way to get those back?

Two things: St Augustine is sensitive to almost all the regular herbicides. St Augustine looks so much like crabgrass, it's hard to tell the difference ;-)
