white and stained woodwork

My house had all stained woodwork. I have always preferred stained woodwork, however, I am painting my kitchen cabinets white with a dark wall color. The woodwork was so faded and greyed it needed fixing anyway so I decided white woodwork would really set off the cabinets and dark wall color. It does. My question is now there is a break where white meets up with stained at the 90 degree corners into the adjacent rooms. It isn't noticeable in each of the rooms but passing from one room to the next it changes. I really don't want to paint all the woodwork throughout my house especially since I love wood, but is this going to look gawdy?
