Hi Ken! Raspberries to you, Joan, for rubbing in our TEMP! LOL Everyday like this - we hope it is the last one for the season. Tomorrow should be much better. Spring is only a month away! Joan, your pictures are beautiful -- But, that first one almost looks like the sun reflecting on snow (that nasty four-letter-word!) Some people we know at our church, just came home last night from Orlando, where it was 85*. At home here it was -20*. That is a 100 degree difference! That's enough to shock a body! LOL

Incredible colors in the sky... great shot, Joan! It's nice to see some foreground elements too, instead of just water and sun.

I planted a Little John Bottlebrush (Callistemon citrinus) at the end of my Iceberg rose hedge. I'm hoping it will provide color at a time when my Icebergs look like sticks. It requires little water once established and is hardy from zones 8 to 11. I think it will work out well, because plants in my area need to be able to take a bit of frost and plenty of heat.
