Did a bad thing, need help

I dropped my camera this morning. It now has a shadow that moves from upper corner to upper corner. Pics below - one from yesterday, no shadow, the others, including of a white wall with the flash on, today.

What did I do? Can it be fixed? If so, any idea how much?

PS The shadow on the right of the first pic is a real shadow from a fence.

Worms aren't BAD to the plant directly, as far as I'm concerned. However, they being there may be a sign of overwatering, as they love humidity. Lift the plant from the pot grabbing the trunk and check for dead rotted roots. I think you shouldn't have trimmed the new shoots, if it had still signs of disease. It it did, it was recovering, and had made a great effort to use energy to synthesize them, now it needs to get energy back from the sun, using the new leaves. Don't fertilize it, and make sure you don't overwater it to prevent root rotting (but don't let it dry out), if it has not already taken place. Are you sure there aren't any greenflies left, or any new pest? Check the leaves (upper and lower faces), a magnifier glass may come in handy.

First, give it as much indoor light as possible. Take it outside to a shady spot on warm days and slowly acclimate it to full sun. Protect it from frost either in the garage or in the house. The pale green leaves should green up. Water it, but go easy. You will need to do this until the threat of frost is gone. Those pale green leaves are tender.

Fast food has a bad reputation, it is not going to hurt you unless you order 2 big macs or super size everything all the time. Then it is the calories that make you obese. If I buy the ingredients for hamburgers and make a meatloaf and salad out of it, there's no difference. My Mom is 96 and living alone. She was raised on food fried in lard. When I told the doctor my sisters were worried about Mom eating to many sweets, he said it doesn't matter what she eats because of her age. She is no longer building a strong body and bones. Let her eat what she wants. My mother in law didn't do a thing for the last 15 years of her life except make her bed, cook and do the dishes and she lived to be 85. Exercise does not extend your life only keeps you more agile, if it doesn't cripple you because of worn out bones. I don't believe all the stuff the health experts say. Remember the "drink 8 glasses of water at day"? It was a myth, no studies or proof that it was necessary. A doctor on TV said an abundance of water causes more problems than drinking only when you are thirsty. My doctor said eat a wide variety of food all in moderation. As you can tell, this is a pet peeve of mine. I've lost two doctors because I don't bow down the them and do preventative drugs

Is too much brown a bad or good thing? Need opinions

I KNOW I had updated pictures of our Cowboy Chic den but can't for the life of me find them. The 24x26 room isn't a brown brown, more of a orangy brown. Walls and sectional pretty much the same color. The carpet is an antelope print (that's what it's called but it's really an axis deer print, same as the skin on the coffee table)with brown in it. My punches of color are the pillows on the sectional. They're all the same style pillow in brick red, sage green, brownish green, orange, dark brown and gold. Even the tile is close in color and dark brown wood coffee table and end tables. This is the only picture I can find...oh, AND the ceiling in this large room is wood too. I think it's a personal preference whether or not you think it's too much of the same color. We've got a 10 foot long white Austin Chopped stone fireplace (goes all the way to the ceiling) that breaks up the color and plenty of other accessories on the walls (plus 10 windows). Monotone-ish den Vaulted ceiling Couch. We've had THREE couches in this den in 9 years :o The first leather sectional broke (handle) and was replaced under an extended warranty. The second leather set, I never liked. It was uncomfortable and too formal looking for our room. The third time was the charm and it's NOT leather. It's our favorite by far! We have two grandchildren that are here as often as they can talk their momma into letting them come over LOL At least 3 days a week. Even tho food and drink isn't allowed in there and shoes are supposed to come off at the door, stuff happens. Hands don't get wiped or they'll sneak a leaky sippy cup in there while I'm not looking. This is some kind of microfiber that at first glance and especially at a distance, looks like leather. A wipe with a damp microfiber cloth is all it takes to clean it. It's definitely a miracle fabric :) And the baby on the couch...he's the best accessory :)

Looks like your sensor moved. Unfotunately, the KM digital camera division is no longer around. Sony bought it.

Contact your local camera store and see how much it will cost. It might not be worth the $$. Sorry.

Those were kind of my hunches too, Joe. I was hoping some one might save me from myself! Well, I'll run it by our local camera shop. I am betting put it to rest with the estimated cost of repair.

It was so bad, I was thinking "I need to put that strap _around_ something..." just as the whole shebang slipped out of my hand.

Of course, it was almost three years old so its not like it was a high dollar loss. Still perturbed at myself.

Sorry about your camera problem.
I dropped my Konica Minolta Dimage Z1 in December....fortunately it still works but the battery case doesn't close completely. I sorta wish it would have really broken because I have never been really happy with it.
Hope yours can be repaired reasonably.....let us know what you decide to do.

Well, my local camera shop says: "Yep, needs to be sent off, probably be about $200." Don't know if that is accurate or just a way to get rid of the job they don't have any real interest in.

Anyone know of a good place to send it for repair.

No warranty is involved. Just need a repair shop to give me a close estimate to see if its worth repair.

That's too bad! ... it can happen to all of us, I know how you feel, hopefully you get over soon!
Nevertheless, lovely pictures!....In the first picture, is that a cherry tree?

That's a young plum tree Konrad. This will be its third season. I am hoping to see how its fruit tastes this year, but, its still another month to our average last freeze date, so I'm afraid it will get frozen.

Well, as kind of a public service announcement, there is good news on the camera front. Apparently it realingns itself. I turned if off and on probably a dozen times yesterday after the drop, and it kept having the shadow. But, gave it a try to get a little shot that popped up a little before sunrise this morning, and had this result

Still a little shadow in the far upprer corner, but not too bad. It may never be quite the same, but, I think it will be ok if it keeps going like that. (And, fwiw, the jet contrail was even a more vivid red to the naked eye.)

I'm so sorry about your camera. Please keep trying to correct the problem and of course maybe a camera shop can take a look, it may not cost nearly what you would think. Call them first and see what they say.
