{{!gwi}} Just reserved preshow tickets and show tickets!

GS had mentioned last week, he would love to see them.

And BINGO on tv yesterday was ad saying they were coming to local university for one show.

GS is so happy!

Have fun! We took the kids a couple of years ago and they really enjoyed it. They wanted to go again this year.

NanaK, first off I LOLed at your "candy shot". Didn't know you were swinging from chandeliers too. Or maybe dancing on the bar like Punk? LOL. You are raising turkeys it looks like! What a wonderful collection you have going. Those bullion cups are really lovely. And I am definitely liking that pretty tablecloth as well. Gosh I remember Woolworths and how I loved shopping there. What a shame. You would have had a great time or will have a great time. Last year we had 2 and 5 year old grandsons. We were going to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. 2 yr. old got sick, so DH and 5 yr. old went and had a good time. I stayed home with 2 yr. old. Have fun when you go!!

Thanks, ladies! I have everything outside 24/7. We've had cooler 68-72ºF nights these past 2 months (can extend to March), which has had a direct 'growth stalling' effect on everything. Daytime temps are still 82-86ºF with comparable humidity, so everything is still active, just less so. Here's a better view of that "ball" of a caudex in its 4" pot: ♡ Here are two 4-month-old seedlings that have very different caudex shapes from the others. This one doesn't taper like the others. --- This one is a tiny 2" runt in comparison to its sibling. Its caudex is browner and has always had a very rough surface, with bumpy downward striations. "Growing your own" would be much less of a challenge if you also ate squirrels.... and maybe rabbits ;-) Got rid of our fruiting peaches, getting rid of the fruiting pear, and can't get tomatoes unless grown up against the house where the critters fear to tread. Once scoffed at a GW suggestion to grow things they don't like... and now find myself doing it. Short list so far of just bird peppers, chives, and other spices like rosemary that they don't bother much. They also don't strip our thorned wild blackberry, though still waiting to see how a thornless variety does. They don't show much interest in the prickly agarita either, but too soon to tell if they'll leave the fruits alone. Am thinking okra might also be okay.

Two of them are on this season of Amazing Race. I always loved the Globetrotters. So funny and very talented. Glad the two of you will have a fun day together :-)

He doesn't watch Amazing Race, but I BET he will this coming Sunday!

He gets to spend 1 1/2 hrs, before the game, out on the court with them. You pay extra for that.
Pictures, autographs, shooting balls with them. He'll have a blast. Something to remember! I hope!

I took DS to see them maybe 25 years ago. We really enjoyed the show. Now that I am so into basketball, I would love to see them again.

I saw them years ago when Meadowlark Lemon was playing for them. It's totally enjoyable and you will love it.
They're amazing!

I'll never forget that soon after the last episode of TAR last year, there was a Cleveland Cavaliers game on TV and who do you suppose was in the crowd - the cameras panned over to them - Flight Time(?) and Big Easy! I don't think the sports casters even made a comment about them, I was excited. ha.

I've always wanted to go to a Globetrotters game, have fun.

I have fond memories of my dad taking me to see them when I was a kid. We'd go every year (probably drove him nuts after a while!lol)
