{{!gwi}} Just reserved preshow tickets and show tickets!

GS had mentioned last week, he would love to see them.

And BINGO on tv yesterday was ad saying they were coming to local university for one show.

GS is so happy!

Have fun! We took the kids a couple of years ago and they really enjoyed it. They wanted to go again this year.

You know, it does look like a pretty nice piece but I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to put it outside and use it for a water feature or ? I'm a person that normally prefers to preserve old pieces but you have to consider the desirability of a piece. If its not something that is highly sought after by collectors I don't see the need to really preserve its condition. Now the member here that had bought a huge Redwing crock and wanted to put it outside and plant flowers in it, that got my attention. LOL! The crock was worth quite a bit of money, particularly to people who collect Redwings.:)

NanaK, first off I LOLed at your "candy shot". Didn't know you were swinging from chandeliers too. Or maybe dancing on the bar like Punk? LOL. You are raising turkeys it looks like! What a wonderful collection you have going. Those bullion cups are really lovely. And I am definitely liking that pretty tablecloth as well. Gosh I remember Woolworths and how I loved shopping there. Especially as a child and my parents would let me buy a china horse or dog when we went. 25 Cents each. LOL. I think I miss those days! Hugs and Happy Thanksgiving, Karen

When my kids were young, I remember watching boys from the end of 8th grade to starting high school in 9th grade. That summer after 8th grade, so many of them shoot up and fill out and a totally different looking boy shows up for 9th grade. Of course, you know they have also outgrown all their clothes too! That's great, a gift he will enjoy for many years! I like that, not many kids can remember what they got last year. He will remember this Christmas forever! When our kids quit believing in Santa we would ask them if they wanted regular Christmas or a trip. They are 27 and 32 now and still remember the trips. Now, we are starting that with the little grandsons.

Two of them are on this season of Amazing Race. I always loved the Globetrotters. So funny and very talented. Glad the two of you will have a fun day together :-)

He doesn't watch Amazing Race, but I BET he will this coming Sunday!

He gets to spend 1 1/2 hrs, before the game, out on the court with them. You pay extra for that.
Pictures, autographs, shooting balls with them. He'll have a blast. Something to remember! I hope!

I took DS to see them maybe 25 years ago. We really enjoyed the show. Now that I am so into basketball, I would love to see them again.

I saw them years ago when Meadowlark Lemon was playing for them. It's totally enjoyable and you will love it.

I'll never forget that soon after the last episode of TAR last year, there was a Cleveland Cavaliers game on TV and who do you suppose was in the crowd - the cameras panned over to them - Flight Time(?) and Big Easy! I don't think the sports casters even made a comment about them, I was excited. ha.

I've always wanted to go to a Globetrotters game, have fun.

I have fond memories of my dad taking me to see them when I was a kid. We'd go every year (probably drove him nuts after a while!lol)
