This was about a week or so ago, I really wish I would have had more time to take more photos, it was beautiful out.

Nice pictures! Looks really cold, it's hard for me to imagine all that white, even while looking at the pictures.

I'm used to green and brown Winters here...

Min, the house and the light glowing from inside looks so cozy...

Amazing how cold, snow, frost can be so beautiful (for myself I'm not motivated a whole lot to be in these elements)...On occasions though, it looks so clean, clear, crisp and beautiful it draws you into....'come and get my beauty'...Nice shots!

@aegis500 Ok, I'm headdd te the nursery. Give me a few quick ideas. Should I replace the dead blue junipers and keep them or rip them out and replace them with something entirely for my front area here? I have 2 more of the junipers in between the Spirea's that I just bought. I doubt if wood boards will significantly slow a rat if it wants to get in. Rats can gnaw through metal, so wood isn't much of a deterrent. I had some kind of animal get in my compost late fall/early winter last year, so I just emptied the bin onto the garden and decided I was going to call it a lasagna bed.

Those are beautiful. When I start taking winter closeups like that, I am reminded of how many more words the Eskimos have for snow and ice and winter precipitation. Our language just doesn't do justice to the myriad forms of snow and ice.
