Not to worry to much, they are a very hardy plant. I grew Broccoli over the winter here and, being careless, didn't watch the weather forecast the night it dipped to 11 degrees. Plants were frozen solid that morning but it only took a few days of sun and warmer weather to perk them up. There were some damaged leaves that I trimmed off once they had recovered, don't know if it mattered but it made me feel better. :)

Hi, I want to thank everyone for all your very nice comments...I can't take all the credit for the health and looks of my plants, you guys on here have helped me alot... the big leafed plant, I only know it as a paddle plant, cactusmcharris gave the name above in his post... I have to admit I don't know the right names for the plants, most times the plants are not labled... I admire all of you that do, my hat is off to you all.... flowerpottipper-I have to repot the squill its out grown the pot..if you want a part of it e-mail me.... growforit- yes that is one of thoses chairs flipped upside down it filters the sun....;) I really like the donkey tail too, I wish it was in a bigger pot, any ideas as to how to repot it, without breaking it all up???? thank you all again....linda

Hi Depending on how bad of a shock the plant got its pretty much a 50/50 chance. Id bring the plant in and pretty much give it what it likes, good bright light and moist soil. Other than this you just have to wait and see, you could use a little SuperThrive on it to reduce shock if you have not used SuperThrive lately. They are very tough plants and you may find that it is just peachy once it gets over the shock of been left out. Cut off any leaves or pitchers that die as per normal and check for signs of new growth. Cheers n goodluck! Sheldon

As far as I could see, nothing I had was very affected - the new shoots on the buddleia got very shriveled up, but seem to be still alive - I had covered up some of the pots of annuals I have already bought, just in case, but all in all, luckily, damage appeared to be minimal for me.
