Forgot about this post! Sorry. 🙄 Well, now, 9 months later, I still remember the bushes and their history here. There was no difference in their quality which was very good. I planted them in the same hole to get a mass effect a la David Austin style. That wasn't necessary at all because they grew so luxuriantly and produced such heavily petaled blooms, totally obscuring the centers, that I was in awe of their progress. It seemed that the two were in competition with each other, seeing which one could outgrow and outbloom the other. The last time I saw them, not long ago this winter, they were resting like they were just pausing....waiting for the train (winter), to pass, so that they can resume their journey in beautifying my rose garden. Glad the idea was helpful! I hate moving roses so any alternative that allows me to be lazy is welcome. The True series is new enough that I can't evaluate the regular bloom cycle or hardiness, but in general the pink or orange blend ones are blooming much better than the red ones. I'd agree that True Passion has knocked my socks off with an immediately bushy plant and tons of blooms with intriguing colors, and True Sincerity comes close as well. I have high hopes for True Perfume in pink with high ARS ratings and True Inspiration has also bloomed pretty well (also pink). I'd like to see your feedback on True Devotion after you see how it does as I don't have that one yet. I have 7 of the True series given that Walmart enticed me with $5-7 roses and followup of $1 roses that were highly salvageable in clearance. This has been a good year for body bag roses with good performance and reasonable accuracy given that I no longer have those common varieties that are offered in body bags. Cynthia

True Inspiration is a keeper. It was a mail order which is always chance since you cannot choose the bush. It came own root, well grown, from Home Depot online purchase, delivered. Growing extremely well its first year, 2023, but was hit repeatedly by generation after generation of rose midge fly which cut back blooming and lengthening canes considerably. Had health issues that kept me on the skids last year. This year I am much better and have a strong handled n the rose midge fly. This has been a good year for True Inspiration. It has bloomed very well. Habit of growth is definitely leaning toward hybrid tea instead of floribunda. Yet TI is not vertical like Memorial Day, more gracefully spreading, not sprawling nor arching. Hard to tell how tall and wide it will get at maturity, but I guess 4-5' T. X 30" W, here in Pittsburgh, much more in Texas. The bloom is almost perfect. Long lasting, strong necked, many petaled, petals drop cleanly, fragrant (moderate+), but the calyx seems to persist so dead heading is really needed to get maximum bloom. True Inspiration really needs to be treated like a hybrid tea regarding dead heading. The thorns are nasty, so be careful. Bloom size is 4"+, not to 5", though. I recommend this rose, being a 8.9 out of ten. This is subject to change in time, as it really is too soon to make final judgment on an in nature bush, but so far so good. I have both True Spirit and Sweet Spirit and I am seconding Sweet Spirit. Very healthy and bloomy for me. Fragrant too although I know that’s not a key criteria for you. I got mine from High Country Roses so it took a bit of time to get up to size. The color is a cherry red reminiscent of KO. True Spirit is in a pot while I decide it’s fate. I got it last spring and it did not bloom at all and struggled with blackspot. This year it bloomed although lightly and it is clean so far but the rose slugs and leaf cutters love it. It is a deeper red that I really like, but it is totally out performed by the other roses I have tried in this series (True Sincerity and True Serenity).
