That's gorgeous Victorian decorating. Love how they used all the same colors on the tree, mantel, and bookcase, and the little carraiges are darling too. I'll head over to the albums to see what you've found for us--better find a Kleenex first because I'm sure I'll be "drooling". ;o) Luvs

Thank you oldalgebra, Luvs, luckygal,& gardner1908 for your compliments on my newly expanded candy tree forest - LOL! I have them staged now & almost all the hang down ornaments tied with ribbon from the chandelier. They are like those little villages but they are candy trees - a collection of them. luckygal, they are made with styrofoam bases. YOu can buy them at Wal-Mart or craftstore. The candy icing is a mixture of confectioner sugar & powdered egg white with water. Well, I've kind of looked at these posts backwards..this being the last...I'm blown away by Everything! I agree with OA - I thought Karen was the Queen of Christmas..but the Two of You must have been seperated at birth! You have so many wonderful decorations. I love that cocoa dispenser and how you have it displayed. What a clever idea using the striped paper as a backing in that shelf unit. It makes everything 'small' in there really stand out. What a fabulous decorating job you've done...I enjoyed it all..and look forward to seeing the rest. jane

These are really cute !! If you want an edible treat, after you melted them together to form the heart, I think it would be cute to fill the centers with melted white chocolate, (or the candy melts) with crushed peppermints added to the chocolate, or sprinkled on top - like the peppermint bark at Christmas. I plan on making these for my kids!
