I hold down the option key and press zero. º

I use the keypad, hold down ALT and key in 0176 (make sure your Num lock is on) 78° here in SW Florida today!!!

Oh, I see on another thread that you figured it out -- number lock. Also, I should have said to hold down the option/alt key, because I think on non-mac pcs it isn't marked "option."

Character Map
Then, click on character you want,
Select
Copy
it's about 60 (paste)° today.

It's much longer, but it works and then are alot of other interesting symbols, etc. you might want to use but don't know the code.

I just hit alt and 0186, and that works for me. It is now a balmy 32º here in tundra land.

alt and 504 does it for me, 63° today, mid 30s Monday.

The weather channel says it's currently 72° here in KCMO, but if feels more like 30°!
