I like that! I will try to get a clipping off my bush outside with the BIG thorns!...BTW what & how was that taken with??

Hi Bill, I have seen mention of this Mapei on other threads and did a google search and came up with a lot of foreign-language links. Who makes it? Or better yet, can you give me a link to a website? (Also, I sent you an email - did you get it? I noticed another tile installation disaster today. Our Master Bath floor has been covered for protection until today when part of it was exposed while the double vanity was installed. The large 16" square honed Calcutta Gold tiles are not centered on any of the walls, so there are really off grout lines at the center of the vanity. It is really obvious and when I think about it I literally want to cry :( . This is our forever house and everywhere I turn, a tile job is done badly. I could really use a good referal!)

Oh Nicole beautiful orchids! I love the crown of thorn blooms, never had one. Nicole it wants to reach the sky lol. Great practice to sell the orchids for $5 rather than throwing them out. That's a really nice plant. I really like the pot where did you get it.

I cant say that it is very different from the love I feel for my daughter and sons. But, there is a special happiness from knowing our family is expanding to another generation. Our three kids are now 37, 34 (DD) and 29. We privately wondered if we would ever be blessed with grandchildren. The two boys (I should probably call them men at this point) are still light years from marriage. We are hoping DD and SIL will have another. He is from a family of four kids and his sister is having a fourth child, so SIl’s family culture is for larger families. . Fingers crossed!

It's an Olympus SP-510UZ...Yesterday in the morning, 9:05...Super Macro, Manual Mode, Auto WB, Shutter-1/20, F# 5.6...When I shoot I just push this and that button to finally get what I want, I don't remember the specifics at the time (such as shutter speed or F no.)...I also had metering set...too...

It's a learning experience, since it's a new cam to me...but with the learning on the FujiFinePix E500, just applied what I learned from that and plus....

Looking forward to seeing your photos...the white of these thorns caught my eye while walking thru the woods...

here are three of mine..with the different settings I used. There were the only three tha looked good enough to post..

This one is darker

Last one...can't think of the name of this bush..starts with a p and has orange berrys. The birds love it but I didn't realize it had these killer thorns until after I bought it. I just bought all the different plants I could that birds would eat the berrys off of..

Took these photos this morning of my silk floss tree. They call this 'armor' on the tree, but I've bumped into them and I call them thorns!

Jean YOu got it! Don't know why I couldn't remember it. The birds really love those berry's. Everything I plant in my garden is for the birds & butterfly's!..
