Baking 'grease' (to grease the pans)

Tried this method/recipe the other day to grease my bread pans and it works great -- is much cheaper than the baker's spray too! This is from another cooking and baking forum that I visit sometimes.

to grease baking pans:

equal parts of

shortening (Crisco regular - not butter-flavored)

flour -- regular all-purpose

oil -- vegetable oil like canola, sunflower, Wesson

You can use 1/4 cup -- I picked up the 1/3 cup measure by mistake so I just used that.

Blend with a whisk or spoon all three ingredients; blend until the mixture is smooth. Use right away or put in a container with a tight fitting lid and keep in the refrigerator. Spread on baking pans with your fingers, pad of paper towels, or a brush.
