HomeAgain, water left in a drawer or appearing later is 99% of the time caused by incorrect arrangement of the drain hoses. Check your installation and make sure the drain hoses are looped up high as possible under the sink before they connect to the plumbing. If one or both hoses sag down below the drain connection level, water from draining the sink can backflow "downhill" into the unit, or water draining from one drawer can backflow into the other. My F&P unit is 7 years 9 months old, I've never had backflow or standing water in it. No repairs of any kind thus far. mtnrdredux and others: All the DD instruction manuals I've seen up to now have advised that only powder detergent is to be used. I checked a current manual online a few mins ago. It still instructs that liquids/gels are not to be used. Tablets are not recommended but can be used (not placed in the detergent dispenser, of course), with a warning that performance may suffer. I personally would not use tablets in any dishwasher. There's no way to control the dose. There's risk the whole thing would either dissolve in the prewash and/or prerinse leaving no detergent for the main wash ... or on a shorter/low-temp cycle the tablet may not dissolve fully in the main wash, leaving detergent exposure in the rinse.

I had great-aunts and -uncles who lived in Alden Park when it was relatively new. I also had a great-aunt who lived in CH proper in a house that had something like 25 rooms, and I try out on occasion to find out if it is still residential. Typical of a lot of Philadelphia though, all but the real core of any neighborhood can often be a mixed bag. This isn't a Bad thing, in my mind, but how much crime is in the mix and how good the infrastructure is nearby are factors. A few months ago, I think my mother's actual house was for sale (she only lived there 'til she was 7...) and it was in great condition and it was Cheap. If you went in one direction the street got better and then you were in CH proper (this was GT or one of the Mt Airy's depending on what map you looked at). But drive on the street map a short distance in the other direction and there were abandoned cars. And no convenience stores or grocery stores for quite a ways.

Wall Color: While I can't speak to the colors you specifically listed, I think gray would look great. Ideally in something about the same darkness as the current wall color. Furniture Layout: Your current layout looks great. Coffee Table: I'd go with something glass, delicate and a little glam. It's a small space with several upholstered items and I think the current ottoman is too "heavy" visually. Bernhardt Newland coffee table Wade Logan Jess coffee table Willa Arlo Interiors Gettys coffee table Rug: Needs to be large enough for at least the front legs of your chairs and sofa to rest on. Without knowing the dimensions of your sofa I can't say what that would be. Here are a couple of ideas for rugs. esalerugs light blue new vintage rug esalerugs light blue new vintage rug Decor: For window treatments, I think some full length touching the floor drapes in a luxurious material like silk would work well. I am a big fan of white or ivory but a medium gray could work well too. Pottery Barn Dupioni silk drapes I also think you need a lamp or two in the room. They add a lot of drama and style to a room. I don't think you need anything between the refrigerator furniture-wise. You could do a taller cabinet, but I'd avoid anything that becomes a clutter collector. I think you need more art on the other walls. Everything is currently concentrated in just the gallery wall.

Being from the blue side, I can tell you that I, along with all my other blue friends and family, have the utmost respect for the Bush family, the Dole's, the McCain's (another RIP hero) and others of the same selfless service. Any politician who does their heartfelt best to put all people of the country first, is to be respected. We may "agree to disagree" on certain policies, even accept that some of the decisions in hindsight, weren't the best....but, we still respect them if they did their very best, with the best of intentions. The service to the country, before they entered politics, is highly admired. And, I'm thankful to them. I'm hopeful that such morals, ethics and priorities will prevail to bring us together again as a country when we emerge from the current situation.
