Dark, rainy, cool and I'm enjoying a cup of Tuscan bean soup, that I had frozen.

Then the weekend should be in the low 70's.

So far I've accomplished nothing!

Having a day to "accomplish nothing" can be quite an accomplishment! Enjoy your day.

I've been flat-on-my-back (or rather, upright-in-the-recliner, gasping-for-breath) sick since Feb. 12. Today is the first day I've felt like there is hope! I was actually hungry; my ribs are not hurting so much, and I can breath. Life is good. Three bouts of antibiotics, some steroids, which I hate to take, and various breathing aids have had very little effect on this terrible bug until now.

I'm accomplishing nothing, either; except checking our the KT and watching the birds at the feeders.

Kylie, I love that picture of your GD!!!! I know....I did not look that cute with the frog in my hair! LOL!!! Amelia....You are so funny! I actually thought about taking it back but did not want to drive back there. I thought about giving it to the neighbor kids. I usually take my snake skins to them as they love that kind of stuff! Kristy...I will try and get a pic for ya. I don't know exactly what kind of snail it is. I was surprised for such a little frog...how high and far it could jump and how much energy it had. Of course he may have been freaked out cuz he did not like my driving skills! LOL!! Karyn, We have an edition across the street that has a huge pond built all around the neighborhood. It is a gated community and I don't know how far I can throw.... hmmm. Will let you know what happens to him. Joyce

Stayed home all day today. Only accomplishment was to bathe GeorgyÃ¢ÂÂ¦..she got hold of a frozen dead fish from a nearby pond while DH was walking her. He thought it was a stick. Needless to say, she smelled pretty bad. We're going out to dinner shortly and then I have to play bridge. We're suppose to get 3 -4 inches of snow tonight so driving home should be fun. I do have 4-wheel and as long as it isn't icy, I'll be okay.

Feeding cats seperately -- all day long?

Several options come to mind. You could feed the cats scheduled meals in separate rooms rather than leaving their bowls down all day. You can slow down Frank's rate of consumption at mealtimes by placing several clean rocks in his bowl. The rocks should be heavy enough that he can't shove them out of the bowl, but light enough that he can move them around to get to the kibble. Having to move the rocks to get to his kibble will force him to slow down his eating. You could switch Frank to a calorie-dense food like Innova Evo that would allow you to feed much smaller quantities. Less food bulk may be easier for his stomach to handle. You could feed Frank on a raised surface NOT in your kitchen or diningroom - on top of your washer or dryer, perhaps, or on a bookshelf or dresser? If Chloe really can't jump a baby gate, you could use that to separate her from Frank's food. You're certainly not in an impossible situation. You just need to make adjustments to accommodate the needs of your felines. Laurie

I LOVE those days.... I call them Jammie days! They are good for your mental health as well.

I really love it if I don't have to go to work those days. Then I just make whatever is in the freezer. I don't go to the store even.

It is warm and sunny here today!
I went to the gym and did my 45 minutes on the elliptical and plan on making some soup in a little while.
Not a soup kind of day but I need to use up some vegetables.
I need to do some yard work soon. We finally had some rain last week and the weeds are thriving.

It's been raining all day long and down to 41. I was going to the gym to use the machines, but enjoying staying in on a go nowhere day.
