What's a safe trim paint color in BM?

I need to get the baseboards done before the carpets come in the bedrooms. DDs room will be lavender, DSs is blue. Who knows what mine will be. I intend on doing the first floor and foyer in warm carmel/gold tones. What's a safe trim color to do the bedroom baseboards that I would likely keep throughout the house? I've looked at Paper White , White Dove, and Super white, and am at a loss. I'm 0-2 so far with wall colors upstairs, so any help would be appreciated.

One more thing, carpet colors are toasty tan in boy's room to creamy taupey beige in other BRs.

The colors sound nice. I think they are what BM calls "warm colors", on the Canadian fan deck, warm colors are indicated by a little picture of a sun on the color chip. The cool colors are indicated by a snowflake. When I was choosing a trim color the designer told me to make sure the white trim color was "warm" white because my wall color was "warm". Where I live BM Cloud White , I think it is OC130 is very, very popular. The designers use it for everything; ceilings, trim work and doors and built in furniture. Apparently it goes with everything. "Mario Buatta, the New York designer nicknamed the "Prince of Chintz," concocts a mix of Benjamin Moore White and Linen White for many of his neutral rooms." No clue where I got this quote but I saved it because I actually think it's rather genius. Well maybe not GENIUS but I can see how it'd be a good idea in some situations. Wonder if it'd work for you. You don't have to buy gallons to try it. The colors might be available in sample pots. Or just buy quarts and give it a go if you want.

Or is it better to continue using Chantilly but in a different finish? This. Definitely this. The rule of thumb for white on white is the white trim color must have less Chroma than the wall color - difference needs to be 0.20 (ish). Chantilly Lace, although it isn't the whitest-most-white-white in Benjamin Moore or over all, has a really low Chroma value, 0.27. You would need a color of white with a Chroma of 0.07 (ish). And there isn't one. Which means there is no way to put Chantilly Lace on walls and pair it with another white on the trim that will look bright, clean and crisp juxtaposed to Chantilly. Chantilly will make another bright, clean, crisp white on the trim look dingy. So, your only option since Chantilly is on the walls and you want white trim too, is to use Chantilly in a different gloss/sheen on the trim. Gloss/sheen in paint colors comes from the pigment volume/resin ratio, not from colorants. Even tho gloss/sheen does affect the way a color appears, it's more about the ratio of ingredients, not color attributes. Which is why one color in different gloss/sheen levels will look different but amazingly, miraculously the color of the different finishes always go together.

As BM site recommends yellow and green colors as "GO with" , I would go with whites with yellow or green undertones such as White Dove BM, Greek Villa SW, Cloud White SW, Simply White BM, Cottons balls BM, Decorator's White BM....etc.

In my house it's BM Decorator White. IIRC someone described it to me as white with a little peach in it. All I know is it looks fine with the taupe, buttercream, and BM Antique White that are in my rooms.

We are going with BM Acadia white for our trim and are using various colors throughout our house. This one is supposed to look good with multiple colors apparently- we will find out! It's kind of funny how many different whites there are! I will post pics when it is finished if you are interested! (might be 2 weeks or so?)

The safest color is Dove White,,,,throughout your house for consistency.....
