msrose, I don't have a BM fandeck, but I do know that RH paints have their roots in BM paint colors from this old thread. Unfortunately Pumice is not included on that list -- it's a newer RH color. But if you go to BM with the chip or sample I'm sure the folks at BM can match it. thanks pesky1, and binsd, I'm glad to hear your husband likes the room! Cindyloo, you've been busy! If I decided to go with a conservative color door, I thought it might be a darker version of our siding color, SW Quiver Tan. It looks really good with our salmon-colored brick. Is there a darker version of Quiver Tan available on the websites tool? Awm03, of course I dont mind. I love seeing all ideas. We've been busy doing our side and back yard the past 2 years and have neglected our front. Seeing your mockup is an eyeopener. I really like the walkway opened up like that, it looks much more welcoming. Less grass would be great too, as grubs got alot of it this summer anyway. I was naive when we did our landscaping 15 yrs ago when the house was built. I was so anxious to have "something" and didnt have enough $$. I didnt research our landscaper or his ideas much. While the river birch is pretty, especially the bark, the location is terrible. It's a very messy tree in all 3 season's but winter. Our driveway and sidewalk are always covered with something, which tracks into the garage and then into the house, makes me nutty! But the tree is very happy. For a long time I hated how it blocked the view of our house, but now that its bigger, I've been liking the privacy it gives, and it is pretty (if I dont look down, lol). I'm debating having a landscape design done for an area in our backyard that has me stumped. I could include a design for the front too as you suggested. I've never considered moving the walkway. Natal, yes, the roots are an issue...they are starting to lift up the sidewalk next to the driveway. So maybe its a good excuse to get a new sidewalk :) geez, I promised my husband if I could just get that backyard part finished and a new front door, I'd be done "decorating" outside. cant wait to show him this new idea :)

I was getting to the bulb type in the last paragraph of my comment, Doug! :) But I ran out of time typing on my phone when my family came to get me at the coffee shop. Yes, find out if your cans are designed for specific bulbs. I had BR30 in my basement, mixed with some A19. I was about to replace all the A19 with BR30, and then an electricial/lighting guy looked at the older cans and told me the brand and that they were supposed top take A19 by design. If there isn't a specific bulb for your cans, then go ahead and try smaller or different bulbs. I used PAR30, short neck, 2700 K, 1000 Lumen, 25 degree LEDs in my outdoor soffits (PAR30 are the correct bulbs that the cans were designed for), and they look great (to me). They still get a little warm because they are 1000 lumen bulbs. So, be careful with specifications on PAR30 bulbs. Long or short neck, color temperature, brightness (lumens), spread (degrees). Try to get LED PAR30 bulbs. If you go with an incandescent, be very careful to get less than maximum wattage that the cans are rated for. PAR30 (or PAR20) can get hot. Below is a link to the bulbs I bought. You can look around the Satco website for others. I recommend getting a good brand like Satco or similar - you can sometimes find them in better HW stores or through specialty lighting stores, or of course online. https://www.satco.com/s9410.html And attached are some photos, in order: Sylvania PAR30 SN 25 deg (L) vs A19. You can see how splotchy the A19 is. Sylvania PAR30 SN 25 deg (L) vs Satco PAR30 SN 2700 K 40 degree Satco PAR30 SN 2700 K 25 degree (L) vs Satco PAR30 SN 2700 K 40 degree (you can see that the Satco 25 degree has higher output than the Sylvania 25 degree).

Just came across my Original Posting and I'm so sorry I have not posted photos yet- it turned out AMAZING! I absolutely love the white- porcelain- very textured so no slipping around pool, I even used it for my baja shelf and far side pool wall because I did not want to see pool tile from inside my house- rather more of a water fall like feature. No problems with the grass around the pool with the pavers..I will find pics and get them up to help. Wish there was a setting to notify me when someone posts on this thing. Sorry not to get back to you all! White is great!! You wear sunglasses outside anyway- honestly doesn't feel that different from when it was only grass or out anywhere..not too glaring at all- go for it!
