I got this e-mail from Glenda. She'd ask herself, but she can't, obviously. Can you please help?

Ask Ravencajun this, please:

I can open the KT, but when I click anything with my cursor, it freezes up on me, and that hand comes up and that's the end of that.

I can't login, if I try, it's frozen. Anything and everything.

Garden Web, anything on that cite that I try to click, freezes up, and then I have to hit hit hit the red x box to get out of Garden Web.

I can go to KT, but I can't read anything, can't login, can't send a message to the webmaster, nothing.

My computer is fine, everything working, I can go to all my favorites, works fine, but anything with Garden Web freezes.

My suggestion is to try another browser it sounds like she has something that is conflicting with IE or she could try to disable the java script in IE.
To download another browser is very easy for firefox just go to www.mozilla.com and select firefox for download, say yes when it ask if you want to import settings and faves and stuff from IE yes to all, do not set as default if it ask. That is it.

To disable javascript in IE (depends on the version of IE) but this might do it.

tell her to try the javascript thing first if that does not do it to go ahead and get firefox. Once she has it downloaded and installed just click on the firefox icon to use it.

no your passcode was set up by who ever set up your router so no one else would have that info. Please tell me what went wrong when you tried it? you do need to install the program on a computer that is using that wifi router. When you download and install that little program it will come up with the info that looks just like the picture on that page you got it from. Did you get that that to come up. Tell me exactly what happened and maybe I can help. It is a very small simple program so it should work. What version of windows are you using? xp? vista? 7? You need to get your lookbook somewhere that it can connect to wifi, it needs the 2 big updates, as soon as you connect to wifi it will come up saying it found updates it will do one then right after that it will do the second, those will make it work much better. don't give up!! It is just like a computer when you turn it off and on it has to boot up so yes it does take some time when going on and off it is loading the system. there is another way to get your passcode but it takes accessing the router and my guess is you do not have that password either. That is why that program is the best way to do it. Is there anyplace you know of that who ever set up your router might have written down this info? It is info that they knew would be very important to keep. Possibly on the router manual or something?

Some of the outside ones can be seen if you really look. But I live in a big mid century modern house with lots of huge windows, walls of glass. Including the doors. So I am able to put the cameras inside the house and looking directly out of the windows and doors. The cameras can pan and tilt and rotate so I can make them move around where I need to see. It has the option to be triggered by movement and can be programed to start recording at that time. Or it can record how ever you want. I can also talk to whoever I see through the camera. Which can freak the heck out of someone... (including the dog) I have the app on all my tablets and phones and pc. So no matter where I am I can see my house. The telephone man was standing right in front of the glass door and right inside aimed at the door is a camera sitting on my desk. No one notices that camera on the desk even standing in front of it. The fact they are inside is not expected, they are looking for them outside there and see none. The outside ones are tucked up beside the beams.

Thanks for the information, Raven. I access at the library, and when the library address shows up, I just click on it and type in "www.yahoo.com" and it takes me to "Yahoo", then I click on the email symbol. The one address is the username that I chose, and ".com", as I got it a long time ago, but the more recent one has my chosen username, then ".ca", as I'm in Canada. I set up a gmail address a long time ago, at my son's suggestion ... but not long after that forgot my password (being rather forgetful, even back then), so it's been sitting unused for years. ole joyful

BTW - other sites like FB require that Java scripting be on.
I refuse to use Chrome, because it's Google that is causing the problem.

yes but if it gets here in here then she can decide what she wants to do from there.

You can select to turn it off and on manually as you wish too.

I have not seen any of the ads or the script errors while using firefox with adblock plus and the latest easylist. To me that is the easiest way to go to avoid them.

trying compatibility view in IE is seeming to help in some cases so that is another option to try.

Why are some webpages blank or incorrectly displayed in Internet Explorer?
click on to turn on compatibility view for directions.

A message from GW is at the top of the page. They are, and have been, working on this problem. Every forum is really ticked at this situation with more than one post about it.

GW does have an issue and are trying to resolve as quickly as possible. They are probably as much or more in deep figuring all out.

I did get rid of the problem by stopping all running scripts on my PC.

I must be living right, I've not had one single problem with GW in recent months. This script thing sound horrible. I know when I'm on my Mac at work, I often freeze up using Firefox because of script issues on sites other than GW. Very frustrating but even those problems have seemed to subside lately.

Hope everyone gets back on board soon. And to those who have given up ... come back!
