Thanks for this, Shuffles. I'll be watching. I will be curious to see what price is mentioned for this transformation. I usually suspect that the costs quoted on rehab shows (inside or out) do not include all the expenses if your or I were to do it - design, transportation of materials, labor, temporary storage, etc. "Courech said he ultimately spent about $5,000 on landscaping. A Tampa-based company that did the work estimated the job would have retailed for $15,000 to $20,000, but some of the labor and material were donated."

Cindee, your hands are pristine and soft and white compared to mine! Mine have so much dirt ground into the dry areas that I'll never get it out. I try to wear gloves, but somehow, they always come off at some point, and from then on, it's dirt and grime all the way. Now for your pics...the yellow eggs look really large for butterfly eggs, so I'm not sure WHAT might be going on there. The little white ones look exactly right. They are probably from your skippers. Since I see no one or no thing menacing your pea vine, I reckon your guard frog is doing a good job! And I like the smell of marigolds, too, though I don't often plant them. They have such an herbal quality to them. Especially lemon desert, or what we call Stinky Marigold. The one that gets about 3 feet high and wide, with tiny yellow flowers and an ENORMOUS fragrance (or some would say, ODOR). I love it! Keep us posted on the egg situation! Marcia

Yikes, I need to move it immediately! I thought it was Diamond Frost, which only gets 18" high, so I planted it along the front edge of a bed that is lined with those. It is already twice as tall and wide. I'll pot it for now, and find a larger place for it. If it is white-laced euphorbia, it can get 10 feet tall! Not so good for an edging plant, but great for a specimen one. And the pics of it are gorgeous, so I'm happy mine is doing well. It just needs a new home. Thanks, Kat! Marcia (ps, sorry I was having trouble hearing you on my cell phone yesterday. I don't hear well on it anyway, and we were in a noisy parking lot when you called!)

kats, I'll say a "move it fast" prayer, (along with my usual "please give me patience NOW" prayer) on your behalf:-). I'm so glad you found an RV park so close to the house, and the pups can go too. I'll miss "seeing" you, maybe by the time you get settled I'll figure out the whole post a picture conundrum. I truly can't wait to see finished pics of your house. Good luck vibes coming your way!!!
