Ivory white is not Acadia white. Ivory white #925 is in the Classic colors fandeck and Acadia white #OC38 is in the Preview colors fandeck. They are very close in color. jbrodies' kitchen that was recently posted as finished has cabinets in Acadia White. Here's a pic of ours while being remodeled. We're not quite done yet, but you can get an idea of the Ivory White color. The wall next to the cabinet has been primed so it is white in color and you can see the Ivory white next to it has a bit of yellow creaminess to it. My hutch top is walnut so you can see it next to brown. Also, I have a lot of natural light in my kitchen, during the evening the cabs look even more creamy. I think either color would look great with Tropical Brown.

I had the flashing problem with BM Muresco ceiling paint - don't know about their other "flat" paints but this is what my painter told me. We have BM Regal Matte on the walls, it doesn't seem to hold up to scrubbing w/o "burnishing" as well as CR suggested, but you can wipe stuff off. The darker colors (Antique Jade, Summer (blue)) seem to flash a bit too when touching up. But the Navajo White touches up very well. The Navajo White is kind of a ivory-bone, very neutral but a lot less yellow than the Filtered Sunlight I had originally considered (painted a sample) for my kitchen/family room (south and east windows made Sunlight look really yellow). I don't know that I'd want to use it on my ceilings though - depends on what your wall color is. If it's something from the same card, but darker, maybe, but I wouldn't use it with walls that were a totally different hue. Here's the east wall of my family room. Navajo White walls with Muresco ceiling white ceiling. The walls are showing a little yellower than they look in person, but not much. They also look a little green (at least on my monitor) but it's not green at all. It's definitely not "white" though. The good thing is, it's a standard color so you can get a gallon and try a sample, if you don't like it you can return it.

Benjamin Moore White Dove OC 17 LRV 85.38 / Undertones: Creamy greige / Temperature: Slightly warm White Dove accommodates a lot of different paint colours because while it is a warm white, it has an almost greige base that calms it right down. This way it doesn’t come off as creamy/warm as Cloud White, but also isn’t as stark/cool as Chantilly Lace. White Dove is a soft white, so it won’t act like white, but just a VERY slightly softer version of it. Pick it: If you want a versatile white trim/door/ceiling colour that will accommodate a lot of cool and warm toned paint colours throughout your home. If you want a warm, but not too yellow wall colour Ditch it: If you prefer a more clean, crisp look Instead: Check out Simply White or Decorators White SW Dover White has more yellow undertones, so is a more creamy white IMO.

@HU-969855738 I was terribly busy yesterday and didn't get the opportunity to respond to you. The three colors I picked out when I made my suggestions were very different undertones, but were meant as examples of the depth of color. There are two factors that go into finding the perfect color that are really difficult to do via the internet. One is that color preferences are extremely personal and two, colors have to be looked at as a collection of colors. It must be 25 or 30 years ago when I came home to Pennsylvania for Christmas. Back then, when my mom was still alive, the entire family gathered at her house for Christmas Eve. It was quite the celebration and we all took pains to find the perfect outfit. My sister Betty lived here in Pennsylvania, Susie drove in from New Jersey and I flew in from California. Apparently there was one outstanding velvet pant suit sold across the US that season. My two sisters and I had all bought it. I have ivory skin and dark sable brown hair and dark brown eyes. I bought the deep Christmas Red. Susie has olive skin and golden brown hair and brown eyes. She bought it in deep Emerald Green. Betty has dark blond hair, fair skin and hazel eyes. She bought it in deep Navy Blue. We obviously have very similar taste, but our coloring is not the same and our homes reflect these same differences. We all live in Pennsylvania now, but Betty's home is decorated in a contemporary style and her color palette is soft beige and pastels. Susie has a tudor home with an eclectic mix of Antique and Industrial furnishings with a fall color palette, deep oranges, golds, browns and greens. My home is an MCM home with MCM teak furnishings. I am renovating, but my color palette is being pulled from the colorful slate entry (called Red/Purple/Green slate). Walls have not yet been painted, but here is a picture that shows the entry tile (with drywall dust): I am using a lot of reds, teals and gray purples (my final decor will not include a paint sprayer on the hearth).
