Alisha, I think it's lovely! Love the shade of green. Doesn't look garish on my monitor at all. You and Nanny2a did a wonderful job with the sewing projects. I see your darling kitties like to get themselves in the pictures like mine do too. They too are wonderfully beautiful.

I would love to see a large oriental look rug in there, picking up on the fabric colors, to bring some pattern and color down from the top of the space. Right now the only pattern is on the valance and top of the shower curtain.

Love the wall color, and I think the lights are fun! You could take the fixture down and spray paint to another finish if you desired.

I would wait until you get the mirror and then decide on the cabinet knob finish. Something shaped like feathers would be fun with the pheasant fabric.

Les - I really like the idea of an oriental rug. There was one on CL some time back that would've been perfect if someone wouldn't of beat me too it. :) I'll keep looking.

When I add a towel bar back, any suggestions for towel colors? I do have some cream colored ones as well as red. Could buy something else.

I bought the lights off ebay and honestly like them. They will need moved out farther though and maybe the chains shortened and possibly raised?. I wasn't around for all the green and those type of lights so maybe that's why I like them? Mom's all about blue. lol

Kmcg - Didn't even think about Kirkland's. I'll check there. I was considering getting a beveled frameless mirror since the lights are more showy. Saw an oval one and an arch shaped one from Home Depot (both 24x36) I thought of buying.
Also wanted to tell you. . . I remember you suggested using a painters drop cloth for the shower curtain fabric. I ended up finding my fabric in the sale pile at JoAnns but when I was at SW getting some paint mixed up I spied the perfect drop cloth. I thought,"Oh, that's what she was talking about." :)

Yea, those dropcloths are popular for all kinds of home projects!

The bathroom looks GREAT! I love the curtain and matching valance. You did a wonderful job and yay to Nanny for sewing the shower curtain. That is so sweet!

Looks really great, such an improvement already. Your valance and shower curtain turned out great. I like the look of no towel bar there under the window since it is in direct sight of the door. Could you put hooks on the back of the door for you and your DH to hang your towels and hang something small between the toilet and vanity for some pretty things.

Shee, it looks lovely! I like that green, and think Les' suggestion about an oriental on the floor to tie in all the print colors would be ideal. Just take your time finding one, and it will happen. I saw an oval mirror at a consignment shop just yesterday that would have been perfect for your sink area.....it was only $50, which I thought was a steal. A shade on the window to add texture might look great, too, I found some interesting ones at the link below, and they are very affordable. It's all looking very elegant!

But I do love that old light fixture....The new valance seems to play more towards the design of them...

Maybe this is a dumb question but what about the length of a roman shade? I think I would need the width that has the 72" length. (think my window is only 27"ish wide) I actually cut the current blind down to fit. Will the long shade look odd?

Love the new paint, WTs and shower curtain! I've never heard of putting an oriental rug in a bathroom. Just curious if it would hold up in that environment. Unless this is more of a powder room?

I actually think the towels you had before would look nice paired with some ivory towels. I'd suggest getting the next size up for the towel rod. Keep in mind you can always cut down if needed.

I also like your existing light fixture. I just had good results spray painting drawer pulls with rustoleum so that is an option if you prefer a different finish.
