JennAir Counter Depth French Door
Comments (7)We strongly considered that fridge, the floating glass black one with the stainless handles. It's drop-dead gorgeous. But we ultimately went with a GE profile CD FD because the Jenn-Air and its clones just seemed to be poorly built inside. Racks didn't glide smoothly, nothing seemed as solid as it should. I have to say, though, that the GE in little more than a year has cracked several bins. The cover over the inside ice maker keeps falling off. It's aggravating, as much as these things cost I'd think the quality should be better than it is....See MoreAny Interior pics of 42' French Door KA or JennAir Fridge?

Comments (4)Jenn Air - made by Maytag - not a good choice today - quality getting poor. We bought a GE french door style fridge 2 years ago, made by South Korean manufacturer LG...no question HOW it's designed and assembled and no complaints no repairs :)) Here is a link that might be useful: Sub Zero refrigeration service experts of South California...See MoreJenn Air refrigerators?
Comments (6)I have a JennAir CD french door fridge. It will be 2 years old next month. (And JennAir is owned and made by Whirlpool since 2006 I believe.) Anyway, I do love this fridge. Just last week I had my first issue. Water was leaking out the bottom. It seems to be the drain plug freezes and sends water down through the bottom freezer and out the bottom onto the floor. I wiped it all down and it's ok for now, but will need to be fixed. I read about this very problem on Whirlpool bottom freezer fridges (which we just purchased for our basement). I never read about the issue on a JennAir, but it makes sense since they are pretty much the same fridge. I haven't contacted JennAir yet for service - not sure if it's covered in the 2-5 year warranty or not. We'll see. I really love the looks and function of the JennAir fridge though....See Morejejvtr
