SIGH....I guess you didn't understand my point. Let me try and explain it better. When kidneys don't work well, poison builds up in your system and these poisons affect your brain. Irritability can become an issue. Dealing with such an illness can also be really hard in many ways including lots of stress, anxiety, anger and depression. Sometimes anger can be displaced. I remember a lecture on emotions and kidney function I had as a student nurse around 45 years ago and the speaker left a real impression on me back then. I am not enabling, I am understanding a bit of what might be physiologically happening. I don't need a lecture on how to deal with terminal/chronically ill people. I have been on both sides of this knowing first hand what it is like, and I believe in telling people the truth. There are just kinder ways to do this. Sending someone a private email, instead of embarrassing someone in a public forum would have been the best way.

Oh well I can get another one made this afternoon. " LOL at you Patti. I've done things like that before too. I made a life size terra cotta pot man. My friend saw it and wanted one for her birthday. I didn't have time to go shopping for pots and I was short about 6 or 7 pots so I took mine apart to put onto hers. That's been 8 or 9 years ago and I never did get around to making another one for myself. Just this past week I bought the pots I need. Now I just need to get some rope and I'll be out there building myself another man. Linda

Thank you everybody for caring...also i forgot to answer you about lapband.my kidney dr raised my dry weight which means they take less off you actually gain weight,i had just hit 25lbs and he raised dry weight so it stalled some .But im at 27 now which is right where i should be.no more than 1-2 lbs a weekits been 14 weeks since surgery,Cant eat much,ive been eating soup,but i like soup so im ok with it.i go to dr next Thursday.
