The superintendent replaced the counter-top in our apartment before we moved in. I mentioned I like to cook and he saved the double-sink cut-out for me as a cutting board. I thought this was nice of him.

I don't cut on it, but I do use it as a pastry board. The surface is a matte...not slippery surface.

Does anyone use a sink cut-out, or counter-top as a cutting board?
