March 16, Today I will...

I am finally back from my trip to Florida...

Today I will catch up on laundry, write a few thank-you notes and get supper started. I am making new potatoes and peas with a slice of ham.

Today I have made lots of pie dough, using 12 cups of flour and also made a batch of the Better Than Pam once again. I plan to bake something with some of the pie dough later. I also plan on peeling potatoes for my supper. So far the weather is really nice, not quite as sunny as yesterday and if it stays nice I will take Izzi and we will go for a ride on my big rig. Yesterday I discovered a deer stand on my neighbor's property, but very close to ours on a big oak tree. Now I will feel like someone is watching me whether they are in there or not. I am sure I will find other things to do today too.

Today I will finish the laundry, decide what's for supper, and maybe go shopping, that's about it for me.

Good morning. It's already 72 degrees here and heading up to 85. Sunny, too! Welcome, Dody and Groomingal! This is a great place to come for support, for weight loss and other things. I'm heading out in a few minutes to do my weekly grocery shopping. I keep a running list all week on my computer, so that by Friday morning, I'm ready to print it and go. I never used to be quite this organized until I started on Weight Watchers this time. It really keeps me in line to know exactly what there is to fix and eat. I'm still cooking every evening, and so far, most of the recent attempts have been successful! QOD: No plans so far. We did so much running around last weekend, and hubby is taking it easy this week but still going in to work after having a heart cath on Monday. So, he'll probably just want to lie around and watch tv. Thanks for the good thoughts for Aubrie. I'm really proud of my Dson and DDIL for remaining so calm about things so far. That's also the reason I was so happy to keep the girls for them Easter weekend while they go visit my other son and DDIL for a nice distraction. And, it has nothing to do with the fact that I LOVE being with my granddaughters! LOL McPeg, I had cabin fever yesterday, too. It was very overcast here and it just made me feel so gloomy. I'm thankful for the sun today! Have a great weekend, everyone!

Wozer, georgysmom you are getting a lot done to the house! Woo Hoo, Glenda, way to go! Hope you had a nice birthday, Elisabeth, happy belated birthday! aunt_audrey, just how do we pull a groin muscle??? I have that too, and it truly hurts... but I don't know, how I did it. I rode my bike to work, and of course, back home too. Then drove over to the house, to see, if they did the work needed on the roof. Can't tell for sure, but am supposed to meet with the seller today to take a look. Other than that, I plan to get some new washer hoses, and test the drain for the washing machine when I am over there. Moni PS, I have today and tomorrow off Moni

I will go to the doctor this evening. My sinus infection is back. Can't talk....tried talking to Sprint over my landline because my stupid Sprint phone hasn't worked since yesterday morning. Got it figured out as I was on hold with them. I've been taking Tylenol since Friday when the headache and sore throat started again, so not feeling horrible but want it to just go away and stay away. Been sick for about three weeks now. Have to pick a few things up at Wal-Mart and that's it. Not doing anything else. Neighbor across the street started working on their roof early this morning. Everyone is mowing their lawn and I wish I felt like doing mine but I don't. I may go out this evening and spread some Preen. Hate using it but I also am tired of pulling and digging weeds...and they're already starting.

Well if I can get myself motivated I will make 2 dr appt, take my tax paperwork to the tax guy, clear some shelves in the garage so that I can get all the fall and christmas bins out of the guest room and into the garage. Walmart for a few items, Wegmans for a fish sandwich for dinner. Im tired just thinking about it.

Breathe in; breathe out. Repeat as needed.

I'm going to try to finish the inventory/cleaning/organizing of just one shelf of Bookcase 2. It was half finished before I got broadsided by the Crud.

I have a great new inventory app for the iPod. It's MyStuff2 by Rick Maddy. It's customizable to inventory anything and everything! I have all my DVDs in it now and about half of my books.

I don't know what got into me today, but I wish it would happen more often! I actually got into the mood to clean. I washed the quilt/bedspread from our bed, cleaned the living room, guest room, our bedroom and the guest bath. Cleaned the kitchen countertops with "Daily Granite". Ha! They hardly get it daily. Washed down the outsite refrigerator and washer/dryer. Tried (really I did) to get that garage in better shape, but failed! Planned tonight's dinner and now I'm taking a break. Need to empty the dishwasher in a minute.
