Well, mopping is STILL on my to-do list...

I really need to to spend some time getting bill pay set up with my new checking account.

I have a big job at work that needs quoted, so I need to get crackin!

Hopefully I can get a little yard work done tonight and leave work at work.

Work on a 1500 piece puzzle I bought yesterday.

Have to take Sola to the eye doctor so she can work on getting her contacts in her eye. She wanted them and was having too much trouble week before last getting them in so they wouldn't let her take them home with her.

Load of dishes.

Pot some pretty dark reddish purple geraniums I bought the other day.

It's in the 80s today and I want to sit out in the sunroom but I need to clean it first....but I don't feel like cleaning it. The antibiotic I picked up yesterday after going to the doctor is kicking in but still feeling crappy.

Yes Carrie, I'm glad it shows what a good time we had, but it seemed the time was over too quickly. I wanted to have more chats with more of the people that were there! The people I did get to talk to one-on-one were absolutely delightful. Patty says one never gets to chat enough -- so you just have to go to another swap :-) so I'm really looking forward to the fall swap. Shirley, we are eager to see your pictures as well as anyone elses pictures too! I'm working on getting the agaves, succulents, aloes, etc. planted in pots for my 'desert garden' on the treated wood deck next to the store room in my back yard. The little water that they will need will hopefully not rot the deck any time soon. I'm placing the pots up on bricks, but of course the bricks will be wet too, or I might try a little gravel under some of them so the pot is not in direct contact with the wood and will dry quicker. Are there any other suggestions on how to accomplish that? I'm excited about the other plants received also.

Hope you had a nice birthday, Elisabeth, happy belated birthday! aunt_audrey, just how do we pull a groin muscle??? I have that too, and it truly hurts... but I don't know, how I did it. I rode my bike to work, and of course, back home too. Then drove over to the house, to see, if they did the work needed on the roof. Can't tell for sure, but am supposed to meet with the seller today to take a look. I will go to the doctor this evening. My sinus infection is back. Can't talk....tried talking to Sprint over my landline because my stupid Sprint phone hasn't worked since yesterday morning. Got it figured out as I was on hold with them. I've been taking Tylenol since Friday when the headache and sore throat started again, so not feeling horrible but want it to just go away and stay away. Been sick for about three weeks now. Have to pick a few things up at Wal-Mart and that's it. Not doing anything else. Neighbor across the street started working on their roof early this morning. Everyone is mowing their lawn and I wish I felt like doing mine but I don't. I may go out this evening and spread some Preen. Hate using it but I also am tired of pulling and digging weeds...and they're already starting.

Today I have made lots of pie dough, using 12 cups of flour and also made a batch of the Better Than Pam once again. I plan to bake something with some of the pie dough later. I also plan on peeling potatoes for my supper. So far the weather is really nice, not quite as sunny as yesterday and if it stays nice I will take Izzi and we will go for a ride on my big rig. Yesterday I discovered a deer stand on my neighbor's property, but very close to ours on a big oak tree. Now I will feel like someone is watching me whether they are in there or not. I am sure I will find other things to do today too. Sue

Kath, I know you want to get some things done, but you SHOULD spend as much time as you can in the sun room. You need to rest so you can get well.

Mail gift and card for grandson's 21st birthday on the 24th. He is a fine young man, so caring and kind. What a pleasure it has been watching him grow through the years!
I must finish planting the veggies in the garden. We got interrupted by a blast of freezing weather for two nights. Thank goodness, the sun is shining again today!

Today I went with Harry for his VA appointment.

Paid the bills and got them in the mail.

Went to the credit union to do some banking.

Went to dreaded Wal-Mart. I swear that place just drives me crazy, but it's the only place local I can find bags for my Food Saver. Also needed some vitamins and mascara (;0) and a "few" other things. That alone took over 1-1/2 hours, none of which were pleasant!

Did the usual pick up around the house, emptied the dishwasher, made the bed, etc.

Now I'm tired and Harry's taking me out for dinner, bless his heart!

Banana Bread in the oven. DD is away still...and it has been along time since I baked. Who would have thought that baking could wear one out!

It has been another full day. This morning Cheryl and I took KC, Izzi and Lily to the vet's to be groomed. They were not ready until five this evening, so we spent the day in a nearby town shopping! First had breakfast at Cracker Barrel, mine was an egg sandwich with tomatoes on it and a little dish of fried apples. Then lots of shopping whether we bought much or not. Lunch late in the day was at Steak and Shake. No supper for me tonight. I am going to bed really soon. In the mid 80's here today.

yesterday i vacuumed the whole house and polished and dusted the living room,the bedroom and dining room.Today i finished polishing the furniture in the dining room & kitchen.Tomorrow i have to do the bathroo,and mop the kitchen.I also have to make up some mac and cheese,to put in freezer.

We're picking up DH life long friend friday at the airport,and he'll spend a few days with him.Should be a good reunion for dh as most of hs friends have already passed on,and as they said,we're all getting older.Both of them will be 75 sunday for dh ,and monday for his friend.

It will be good to see him again and relive all those memories.
