How to get rid of the Intellitext (green underlines) links

I read this over at Computer Help and it worked.

Click on the ? in the box that pops up when you hover over a link.

When you get the page loaded - there will be a tab for DISABLE - follow the instuctions.

Close out of everything - then reopen the KT - the links are then gone from the posts.

I get these in my emails from FlyLady in Yahoo too, so I just went there to see how to get rid of them there. Similar deal to here. So doubly thank you.

Hi dotty: My husband gets out there pretty soon and power washes. It seems to work really well. We use an environmentally friendly cleaner and all the patio, walkways, and slimy parts of the house even, look as good as new when he's finished. We actually even have algae (I think ) in our window frames. Our sport-court was really nasty and slimy last Spring & when he was done it looked brand new. The power washer was one of our first purchases after moving up here. We got it at Costco for a pretty reasonable price. I think you can buy moss-out too as a spray or powder. If you don't want to purchase a power washer. We never tried that. I'm not sure how environment friendly that is. We just have been happy blasting it all off with the power washer.

Good question! I've always wondered about annoying ads. It turns me off to the advertiser. Whereas low key, context sensitive ads are useful enough that I tend to notice and pay attention to them. When the ads are so annoying that people find ways to get rid of all advertising I don't know how that benefits the advertisers. Pickle, interesting about the Firefox barf. It adheres best to the international conventions and standards, so I wonder if it's MS or Apple or some other big honcho's ware that those sites are constructed for. BTW, I've found that if a page is taking too long to load, it will usually come right up if I back arrow then front arrow. I don't know if it's hanging up on the advertisers or if it's something on my own system, but it works.

Thanks, Angie, I'll look again because I missed it the first time around. Still can't figure out why these suddenly reappeared. drachiele, I stated that I understand the need for ads. I know this isn't a charity. However, this type of ad isn't only annoying, it affects me negatively. Excessive visual stimuli - a category these fall into - cause my chronic disease symptoms to flair up. They have the right to make money but I have the right to protect my health.
