I've heard the phrase, but I haven't heard of the bullying of red headed children either. Every generation of my family has had at least one red head so we know where it comes from. I gave birth to two redheads although dd is now more of a strawberry blond. I love red hair. I think it is absolutely beautiful. My children are really cute and have lots of friends. DS#2 has hair that is almost a coppery orange. I always have a chuckle because people -kids and adults- go out of their way to touch his hair. It gets ds noticed, but not necessarily in a bad way.

White. There's white in the bedspread and lampshades, and I think it will look bright and crisp against the pink. Regarding art, the princess phase is only a few years for most girls. My daughter was in full-on princess mode from 3 to 5, but then entered a rebound phase where she started rejecting all things princess, or pink (at 13, she's now willing to re-add pink to her wardrobe). I feel sorry for the family, but I don't blame the cruise line. Facts keep changing, but last I read was that the grandfather put the child up on the railing in front of a open window. You don't put children on top of railings. Very poor judgment of the grandfather. A few years ago a mother put her child on top of a railing at a African dogs exhibit at our local zoo . The child fell in and the dogs killed the child. I don't blame the zoo . Idiot mother.

That is actually what we have right now in both of our bathrooms. I personally won't poop without a squatty potty 🫠. Our three year old just won't leave it next to the toilet where it's supposed to be! He always wants to move it for reasons that are totally unclear to anyone other than him. It's particularly annoying because we also have a step stool at the sink that he moves, so the first step of anyone going to the bathroom is rearranging the furniture. I fully realize that this is a stage that will pass, but $200-$300 just seems pretty cheap for something that's actually functional in a reno when there are so many other things that cost as much or more that are totally pointless (thinking specifically of crown molding in a kid's bedroom, which our contractor recently asked us if we wanted! That was a big no.) We actually asked our GC and plumber about the thought of a kiddie toilet (not the 1970s one from my parents) yesterday and they were all for it. The plumber said he has done them in several other houses and the only downside is that the trap is smaller in the kiddie toilets, so they get clogged easier. The plumber knows that we are handy enough to swap out a toilet down the road, so he wasn't just saying yes to keep up demand.
