Sorry, my internet(dail-up) was down because of the storm. Can't complain for less thatn $10 a month... Requests to hear more from me attended to... though I'm not sure what kind of info you're looking for. Open to questions. Hubs is attending OUHSC grad school in Epidemiology (got his bachelor's in Math). Been married for going on five years. My favorite color is blue, I used to like animals until I had a child. I got a BS in History with a minor in AmeriGov. My favorite books right now are the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, though I think my all time favorite might be Les Miserables. I'm extremely analytical and inquisitive--my recent conquests for knowledge have included sewing, quilting, using a digital camera correctly, veterinary work for an accident prone cat, instructing classical guitar (you get a different perspective as a teacher, naturally) and (of course) gardening. Gardening is less of fleeting interest than the rest though, because I see it as more of a responsibility to learn than anything else--you know, being able to feed yourself and beautify your land. Not sure how much to give away... I think my blood type is O...? We recently bought a house in the SW area of OKC and had one good plant this last year--zucchini, which for all I know is the easiest thing to grow on earth so it had nothing to do with me :) I recently bought some seeds to start a chocolate vine on my back fence, and as soon as I figure out what I want I'll get started on landscaping. I like lambs' ear, but only because it feels nice. It's really not very pretty. I like roses, but I don't want thorns around curious children, and I'm poor :) I think it's pretty safe to say that I have no natural ability in the area of growing plants, so I need more time with those that do, or have at least acquired that ability. Hope that's enough, and again, ask all the questions you want, but don't get mad if I don't respond immediately, I have limited internet access as my husband uses the computer for school/research, and our service stinks. melissa.mmm...thanks SO much for the recipe, they look wonderful...I am going to need the no calorie day after eating them..LOL I think I would like a " no cost " day....could Buy anything you wanted ...just for one day...oh, I am dreaming too...LOL Ok, I dont know if I can type it ALL, BUT I just recd my box, and WOW, did Pixie spoil me !! I recd pond plants..which I am gonna surprise hubby with for his pond. A cute card with two mystery seeds SEVERAL named cannas, and in PINK, which is my fav plant color.. Lots of great chocolate two little chocolate bunny statues..they are too cute ! a mini greenhouse with pellets to grow my mystery seeds CHOCOLATE MINT GERANIUM, for my choc garden... some Iris and daylilies Shasta daisy and some great recipes and recipe cards... I am so thankful for all of this wonderful stuff to enjoy...thanks soo much !! Oh, and a nunch of seeds... I think I need to send a bit more to my buddy next month, I thought we were to stick to the list...now I know better ! Thanks for making my day !!!

Oh, Diana, I'm so glad you like it. Your package has a funny story behind it. When i shipped it, they never asked for payment...and I never realized that until a few days later. I called to pay for it (so you wouldn't have to! LOL) The woman got into an argument with me on the phone insisting it had already been paid for, but instead wanted to collect because the package had somehow got valued at $300. Anyway, that's why it was delayed, and that's why it says COD on it. My apologies. I was embarrassed that they were asking you to pay for your swap box! And that cake plate...I think i'm going to go back to the store and pick one up for myself. But what's even better, if you take the top off, place it on the counter, and take the stand off and cover it...voila, a tagine! I had fun shopping for you, Diana. I packed mine today, just need to tuck one more thing inside (once it arrives in the mail) and get it shipped. It's been over a year I think since I've done a swap. They really are a fun way to get to know another KTer better.
