Can you vote for me? Tile Giveaway

I entered my laundry room in a contest for a floor tile giveaway. The laundry room leads right into my kitchen. This was supposed to be a random drawing, but it has turned into a contest based on votes. Lots of friends have voted, but for some reason they aren't registering!

I didn't want to have to ask the GW community for their support, but it looks like I need your help. If you would like to vote for me, I would really appreciate it!

All you have to do is go to the link below, scroll down and click the button by "Karen V", scroll a bit further down and you will see "Vote", it is written in black and doesn't look like something you should be able to click on, but indeed, you can. In fact, "Vote" is on someone else's submission photo! You don't need to leave an email address, or a name.

I really think the tile would look great as it would connect with my kitchen's cork floor.

Thanks for the votes, if you are so inclined to vote more than once, it seems you have to vote from another computer!

Did you see the pink and white tiled floor by Tina A.? And she wants to change it? I'd take her floor in a heartbeat and go with it baby! lol

Nopushover, would you mind saying what brand and color or grout you used? NICE! Right now I'm leaning towards the Oyster gray color in the Prism line, but it does seem a bit light. Blue, I vote for 1" hex, too. That's what I've just used in my very small bathroom. If it ever does get grouted, I'll try to post a pic. Good luck. pup

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who are still taking the time to vote. And to those of you who have said such nice things in the comments on the "results page". As you may have seen, it seems to have turned slightly ugly. Unless there is some sort of "tile miracle" I don't expect to win. I find it unfortunate that a lot of votes are not being counted, or possibly something is wrong with the counter. Again, if your vote isn't counted, leave a comment about that in the comments section, right below where the results are posted. It sounds like the woman who is "redesigning the bar" for her fiancee's family is pretty determined to get this tile. (Which is another topic completely) I think it would be nice to win it, I think it would look great in my laundry room, but if I don't win it, my backup plan will still be great--to extend the cork into the laundry room as originally planned. If you want to try and keep voting, great. I would love to win and "show Shandi H that the power of GW is not to be taken lightly". Again, thanks to all.

Shelby, I found that site from someone on this site who wanted me to vote for their baby! I am not sure if you can still enter for February, but the home page of the contest would tell you for sure. You have to first create a home page for your baby (it's all free) but you have to have a digital camera or a scanner or your photos on disc to do it. The site goes through all of the instructions to upload photos onto your site (it's kindof confusing but you just have to take it step by step)- I am no computer gu-ru!! But once you upload the pic you want for the contest then it is all taken care of. Every month there is a different theme, but once you win, you can't enter again, to give everyone a fair chance. It is pretty much, whoever can get the most people to vote for their baby wins, but it is still fun to see your little one online!! Andrea

There is something wrong with that site. I voted for you. Score was: her 419 you 400. I turned my chair and voted from my other computer. Her score is now 420 yours is 400. So I went back to the other computer, voted again and the score is now 422/400. I wasn't taught the "new math" so that might explain why I can't figure out why voting for you made her vote tally go up. anyone?????

I normally use Firefox as my browser, but had to us IE in order for the "vote" to show up. Very poorly designed site.

Did it too, and you're way in the lead, although my heart went out to the carpeted bathroom. Carpeted bathrooms are an abomination and that poor guy needs some tile.

Thanks again everybody. Wow, the power of Garden Web is great! I'm in the lead, but the 2nd place entry (a bar) could possible have an edge this weekend if the patrons there start voting!
In case you haven't voted because you think I'm way out in the lead and your vote isn't necessary, think again! I would love your vote. I promise that we will decide how to install the tile as a group!

We discovered the other night that we could vote from iTouches/ iPhones and Nooks and Kindles!

Just found out the voting ends next Friday 2/25! Another whole week. The pressure.

I tried voting again and wasn't turned away, I don't think. Was up to 225. If you don't get it, I really don't want a bar to get it. I still want the poor guy with carpeting in a bathroom to get it if you don't, but he's nowhere near in the running. He must not understand how these things work...
