Thank-you for the explanation about the scaling on the website. I'm sorry I maligned a fictive editor! I was just trying to make the amounts match and thought the second addition was an error too. :) If there had been a single measure of honey and the directions had said "half of the honey" it would have been clearer and worked better on the scaling. Oh, well. Scaling a recipe you've never made can be dangerous even if you think through every ingredient. My mother's challah recipe, which I've made the most, and made for decades, makes three loaves, and it's much better to make three loaves and freeze two than to try to make it work for a single loaf. One thing to remember in baking bread is that recipes often fail the first time you make them, especially while you're developing expertise. There are so many variations in flour, kitchen climate and oven climate, that a recipe is really a starting point, not an absolute. I'd also follow the recipe exactly once to get a better idea of what it's supposed to be before changing the ingredients. After that, remember that when you make changes, you're not following the recipe, and you're relying on some very precise chemical and biological reactions not to care. Keep in mind that you're making an experiment, not a recipe, and that there are things that may be going wrong. I've been doing that almost weekly for the last year, and learning a lot from it about what reactions such changes bring, It's fun! But if your point is to make a good recipe and have a good loaf of bread, do start by actually making the recipe. I have all kinds of ideas of how to proceed and tried writing them out, but I realized I'm not expert enough to make them make sense. It sounds like it might be overrisen, underbaked, or perhaps baked at too low a temperature. Do you have an oven thermometer? Re soaking, if you're trying to adjust the nutrients of the whole wheat, you should do at least 8 hrs. and with some acid (I found a jar of vitamin C crystals easy to find and use a pinch of that, but normal kitchens acids will work). Adding extra liquid for it might have required a little extra baking too. I've found that even if a soaker seems very dry, when I mix everything together, it's fully hydrated and doesn't need an addition of water. This is true even when I knead the ingredients together by hand. My best advice is to decide on a few small adjustments, try again, and see what happens. :)

Outside, I have both a a tinted moisturizer (Neutrogena) and a tinted sunscreen that I love (Elta). I put them on every morning, but realistically, they should be reapplied during the day if I'm going to be in the sun, so I'll just need to remember. While I won't be lying on the beach, I will be outside much of each day. Going on a week of college tours with my oldest! And I've never ever been a hat person, sadly. I wish I was but I'm terribly self-conscious about wearing a hat, so the only time I do is when I'm actually at the beach or pool. Boop, I'lm not sure which procedure your question is directed to, but I'm assuming you mean the Photofacial? I looked it up as I've never heard of it, and saw a video that a woman posted showing how she looked before, immediately after and then the following day. Her face was red and splotchy the first day, but she looked normal the next day. As for the laser treatment I had for my one spot, I didn't look like a freak. In fact, I thought it would be worse based on how the dermatologist described it. She said it would turn purpleish and look like a bruise b/f becoming flaky eventually and then fall off. Mine never changed color - it was slightly red around the edges, but the spot stayed brown. Then all of a sudden it was dry/flaky, and just came right off yesterday. Mine was about the size of the eraser on top of a pencil and right smack dab in the middle of my cheek, so very noticeable. I was worried i'd need to cover it up in the days afterward, but I didn't need to.

Glad somebody resurrected this thread. We have chosen our tub, and I'm excited. We finally went down to the MTI factory in Atlanta – – they were extremely kind and pulled several for us to try out. The winner is the MTI Andrea 6, [which you can see here.[(https://www.houzz.com/photos/marmol-bath-remodel-transitional-bathroom-dallas-phvw-vp~16904294) Ours will look almost identical to this in terms of deck width for the undermount. This tub gives an awesome 46" of legroom in a 60" tub, is wide enough, and just deep enough. A little deeper would have been great, but we compromised for future safety. Cannot recommend MTI high enough. Awesome custome service.

Dyan, What a diff. Very nice job. I bet they're very happy w/their work. Show them some of these photos I've listed to see if they could paint over that tile around the fireplace. I like the black mantle, but a stencil painted tile would look so much better. (they can retile later on down the road). They have a lot of tutuorials for tiles on the floor, but it could easily be done on those around that box. I did a quick photoshop with this one. I like the addition of the warm wood mantle over the black. did a little mantle styling. that pic actually reflects a woven pendant, so I gave you one surrounded in the black. I think that black lantern light is a bit harsh for the colors in this room. Same photo using the woven pendant light. Here's the photo I used. The tiles have a bit of black, but they have that griege tone and a soft blue gray. I think it's nice w/the flooring. Stencil is from Royal Design Studio If they like more of the black and white, they could do that as well. This link actually has a really good tutorial using diff paint. I thought these colors might work well w/the room colors. (is the wall color really that green looking in person?) do they plan on painting that kitchen island? I think if they just did that one, it would look great! they could add a bit of wood trim on the panel so that it looks finished, and nicely done. looks so much better! You can see the wood cabs in the background to get an idea of how it looks. they could do any size trim, beadboard, shiplap, (This is General Finishes Milk Paint in Snow White. I've used it. It's an acrylic paint. They could easily use this on the oak island and any added trim work. Just prime everything first w/Zinsser oil base primer. Always sand prior and after the primer) mdf pieces,,,,and it's relatively simple. Few hours would make a big impact. The island they could paint in a charcoal or black if they like.
