I am one of those who disliked my Monogram oven's performance, and couldn't recommend it... but it wasn't Trivection. Buehl is the only one on this forum I know for certain has Trivection. She has the Profile, I believe, and has always said she loves it. I hope she checks in here for you.

GE Monogram ovens (thanks, Fishies!), but the discussion
was not of the Trivection, which is what I'm interested in.

I'm glad to hear Buehl likes hers, and sure hope she sees

Yes, I have the GE Profile Trivection ovens and love them! I'd get them again. In the interests of full disclosure, though, I would probably also check the Miele ovens...but they are much more expensive...at least they were in 2007. Then and I suspect now, my opinion is that the Trivection ovens are a better deal.

I find the Trivection function very easy to use and that it works as advertised. I love making baked white & sweet potatoes now. I used to MW them but the skins were always so soft and they never seemed as good as when baked in the oven. Now, I can bake them in approx 20 minutes and they're perfect...just as I like them....crispy skins & soft insides.

Meat, poultry, breads, casseroles...they all cook faster and come out great.

When I researched ovens back in 2007, both the Profile & Monogram lines carried the Trivection ovens. Both the GE and Monogram customer service reps (phone) told me the internals of the ovens were identical...the only differences b/w the Profile and Mongram were:

(1) Aesthetics - the external appearance. I preferred the Profile look.

(2) The Monogram came with a roasting pan (like all ovens used to), the Profile did not. I already had a couple of roasting pans, I didn't need another.

(3) Price - the Monogram was a couple of thousand more, as I recall.

Bottom line - the Profile & Monogram were identical where it mattered...so I got the Profile.

One thing, they did not and still do not come with the full-extension racks. However, as they are wall ovens, I find it's not that big a deal b/c they're high enough that I can easily reach inside if needed.

I was going to check out the Profile Trivection ovens, but the
line has been discontinued. It took a little google sleuthing
to find this out. GE's site lists just the Monogram line now.

DH doesn't want to spring for Wolf or Miele double ovens, as
the rest of the kitchen will have pricey "ingredients", and our
oven is the least used appliance, now that it's just the two of
us.

Of course, this could change, once I get the results you have
from the Trivection!

I have GE Monogram double convection ovens. They came with our house which is 12 years old. I had to replace the Convection Fan 2 1/2 years ago. It was an expensive repair but much less expensive than replacement. Other than that; I've been happy with the ovens. We do alot of entertaining and they've produced many Large Turkey dinners with all the fixings over the 10 years we've been here. We're doing a minor redo of our kitchen and we're going to keep them until they give up the ghost! They still look good and I'd rather spend the money on the cosmetic changes that I'm hoping will make my kitchen look more like my dream kitchen.

I know this is a response to a question from a month ago, but in case people are searching this forum for info on the double GE Monogram Trivection oven combo I wanted to post.

We got our oven in 2007 and loved it! I love to bake and it is the best oven I have ever used (my Mom has a Jenn-AIr and Dacor and our new house has a Fisher-Pakel). My chocolate chip cookies from that oven with trisection cannot be replicated in the FP oven or the Dacor. Also, I loved that you could make casseroles so fast in it and they ended up just as good as if you were convection baking. Some things were better. I can't say anything about reliability, as we only used it one year before we sold our house.

In our last house we had the Monogram Trivection Double oven and also a Monogram 240 Advantium. I liked the Advantium, but don't miss it like the Trivection. I actually was searching the appliance forum because I was surprised the profile versions were discontinued. We are doing a budget remodel and I was thinking of getting rid of the double FP and getting a Trivection oven instead. I just wish they were a little cheaper.
