It is a wonderful site, and everyone is willing to answer all questions they can, whether simple or complicated. Last year, I stumbled into this forum and fell in love with the idea of a garden pond. As I clicked here and there, the inspiration was there from all across the country. I am now in the process of building one. This is the third evening DH and I have spent digging and it is coming along. My only stumbling block has been the small waterfall, but hubby hauled in the largest rock we are going to use and laid it in front of the filterfalls and that helped alot. Someday, I hope I can help someone as much as I have been helped. I love "Paying It Forward." To all ponders, thank you.

LOL, Phil!! Great Pic. and I hope Char will grab it and save it for herself! I have both the Norway Maple and the Green Ash. My solutions is to use whiskey barrels or pots around them. I try to create "interest" in other ways, rather than just plopping them (the barrels) down under the trees, such as rocks and tiered, etc.! So glad you are "wintering" over with us, despite the severity of the cold all over! Hosta folk, stay warm in their hearts, just dreaming of Spring and hosta emerging! I hope you will stay with us throughout the seasons, and go over to the "conversation" side when you run out of hosta questions--well, maybe that will never happen, but we do have fun "in and out" of hosta discussions there, too! Your so welcome. We all face the same challenges, so many daylilies to choose from and the need for more space or resources to keep up with our daylily addiction. We all are happy to enable a new daylily addict. Looking forward now to see photos of all those great daylilies. Linda
