Can you mix 'somewhat' toile fabrics in a room?

I am getting ready to re-do my DD's bedroom for her 14th birthday. Her furniture is a distressed white and we are painting the room lime green. I convinced her that toile would be perfect for a more grown up look. Just a few days ago I saw a gorgeous retro floral fabric on another thread that I loved but couldn't talk her into it, so we are going ahead with the toile.

Here are the ones I am considering....

The one below for a slip cover for her desk chair and pillow shams...

More pillows and a cover for her ottoman....

Her choice for the duvet, drapes...

Another possible choice for the duvet, drapes

Bed skirt...

I would actually love to use the pink stripe as the dust ruffle with the first "toile" fabric for the duvet. I really like the way those two look together, and I think the black background would really stand out more than the ones with a white background, but she thinks the pink is still too little girl and that particular "toile" is her least favorite, so a small amount of each was all I could convince her of.

Here is her room. We will be removing the canopy and the quilt. This picture was taken when we moved here. She was ten so a lot of the younger stuff is already gone.,,
