I have a real problem believing someone was NOT paid off for writing that article. This is as irresponsible as many political campaign ads. Make a comment to imply something that is totally unfounded to profit from it. "Well we didn't SAY that ____ made this, we asked 'what if'..." or some other such nonsense. Show me proof that General Mills makes their cereal. Why didn't you test it against Malt-O-Meal's version? Or any of the other generic brands? Hmm, couldn't be that you wanted people to think that General Mills made it could it??? Gee, it's the same shape... doesn't look the same... doesn't taste the same... MUST BE MADE BY THEM!!! Totally irresponsible. And the problem is people buy that type of misinformation as being credible. Maybe they "went behind the shelf" to find out who made it, but they didn't have even crumbs of facts to back up their implications. And all that they actually produced was mouse sh*t for findings behind that shelf. If I were General Mills, I'd sue their butts off. Even if I was actually selling the rejects to TJs! And I'd be proud to tell people that I sell my garbage to this company and they resell it to the consumer! I'd call it "recycling".

There are 3 TJs sorta near me but none close enough to shop at regularly. One sells no liquor at all & the other two only sell beer. So, no cheap wine. The one we usually go to is out-of-state & in an old dreary strip mall. The store is disorganized & dirty. It's a very depressing place to shop. We rarely go, maybe twice/year. I suspect the other two stores are nicer but they are a lot further to drive & in a direction we seldom travel. We are supposed to get a new WFs within five miles but it's at least a couple years away. People here are very complimentary of TJs but I really don't have much good to say. Ours is just the pits. Well, I do have something good...the people working there are friendly & helpful. :) /tricia

I've been there three or four times now and like it better each time I go. The first time, the parking was horrible but we've been able to find a spot without a problem after that. They have a huge wine selection, the baking aisle is full of interesting things and there's a pretty big freezer section. I really stocked up on frozen mini croissants and mini chocolate croissants while I was there the last time. I live a couple of hours away from Portland and tend to buy a lot when I'm there.
