Foodie decorations for the holidays....

What sort of holiday decorations do you make (or are thinking of making) that incorporate food? This may be a little premature, but I think some of the ideas could be put to use now and kept into the new year and then there are the people (not me! LOL) who are super organized and have already started making non-perishables for the holidays.

I was specifically thinking of the ornaments that TerriPACNW posted on the Cinnamon cookalong and looking at Lori's spiced pear/apples. They would both be lovely in a garland or incorporated into a Thanksgiving centerpiece. A few years ago I made a Cranberry wreath for the front door, but unfortunately it didn't hold up well since we had several warm days that fall. I have also made indoor candy wreaths when I worked in an office - wiring individually wrapped hard candy to a wire wreath frame (starlight mints are nice for Christmas, and I did butterscotch coins and root beer barrels for Thanksgiving) and backing it with greens or grapevines and maple leaves depending on the holiday.

What additional food-type decorations do you make? Of course, photos would be fantastic.
