Haunted kitchens

Lars

Today at lunch I was sitting in my living room eating my sandwich and watching TV when suddenly I heard a loud noise from the kitchen. As it turned out, the blender had turned itself on, and I do not know how that happened. The glass jar was not on because I had made a German Apple Pancake on Sunday, and the instructions say to make the batter in the blender (It uses seven eggs for a four serving pancake). So I unplugged the blender so that that will not happen again. It reminded me of the Comedy Store on Sunset, where the TV would turn itself on, and also the lights.

I have good reason to believe that my house in Venice was haunted, but I have not had that feeling about the one I am in now. Perhaps Bernard brought some spirits with him. He's had trouble getting rid of some of the ones he's conjured up in the past, when he used to make ceramic devils. He stopped doing that a long time ago, however.

Any poltergeists in your kitchens? It seems to be that time of year.
