Who Watched the Nora Roberts Movies

How many watched the Nora Roberts movies yesterday? I took it easy and watched all of them! I have never watched so much tv! Now I will have to get out my books and read them:) I know I have them all. I enjoyed the movies.

oh darn...what ones were on...maybe they'll be showing them again!! I love Nora and would have loved to have seen the movies!!

I've read all the books, but the movies drive me crazy with all that music. You have to turn it up to hear them talking, then the music is way too much.

I love Netflix too! I think it's one of the most well run companies on the 'net, and their website is simple and easy to navigate. Be sure to check out the free movies you can watch instantly on your computer. You can stop and go back to them later. It's wonderful. I've enjoyed these recently (some are instant). It seems to me that Hollywood only makes three movies these days: The movie about running real fast and engaging in physically impossible acrobatics while things blow up all around. The fart joke movie. The dysfunctional relationships movie, which has two variants: pseudo-inspirational and frankly depressing. Of course, these can be combined, as for instance, in the upcoming remake of Murder on the Orient Express which seems to combine Hercule Poirot, superhero, with the most dreary-looking trainload of miserable people you ever saw. So I just don't go. The suggestion to go to an art house is clearly made by people who live in very major metro areas. I live just north of a major metro area, but still about 90% of the movies I might possibly wish to see do not play within 150 miles of where I live. I see about one movie a year in the theater. Unfortunately, I do keep up with what's current when visiting my brother who has every known streaming service. I'm astounded at how fatiguing it is to try to be entertained.

Actually have been to the movies recently!! Two times in two weeks!! Saw 'Little Women' last week - enjoyed it but it jumped around time-wise a bit and was sometimes challenging to follow. Last night went to see 'Just Mercy' and that was superb!! A true story, it will get you fired up for various reasons. One movie was pure entertainment and the other got you thinking and incensed and involved.

I thought "Northern Lights" was awful!!!! ZERO chemistry between the two leads/lovers, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian. Two rolls in the hay, one date, and they're madly in love & want to get married?!?

Continuity was terrible. Unless I missed it, I had no idea that the father was killed 15 years earlier than when the movie starts. I didn't learn that until later, through dialog.

The only reason I stayed till the end was to see who the killer was.

I've never read any Nora Roberts, but I hope her books are better than "Northern Lights"!

You can't put a whole book into a 1 hour made for television movie.

I watched the last half of Northern lights and had to search for a spoiler then I watched the rest
