Looking for a T&T Maple Whoopie Pie recipe

My sister planted the seed when she told me about delicious food items sold at one of our state fairs. I had never heard of maple whoopie pies, but she said they had maple flavored cream in a maple flavored cookie/cake. Yum!
I searched some online recipes, but none came up from a trusted source. So, I'm turning to my most trusted recipe source....anyone have a tried & true recipe? Thanks!
