I used a Bosch twenty-five years exclusively for bread. During the time frame when I had my Bosch I was also grinding my own wheat & other grains. It performed extremely well. I also had the blender attachment. The only thing I didn't like was that it was not D/W safe. I also would have preferred a glass blender container but I can say the plastic never stained even with mixing dozens of batches of mole sauce.

I'd suggest a Zojirushi Bread Machine when it comes to making bread, since you have a stand mixer already. That's what the Zo is designed to do, and it does it VERY well.

The King Arthur Test Kitchen uses Zojirushi bread machines for making dough, rather than stand mixers. In side-by-side test making the whole wheat bread dough, in a Zo and a stand mixer, the Zo loaf was at least an inch taller than the stand mixer-made dough. Mixers tend to aerate the dough.

I make nearly all my yeast and sourdough bread recipes in the Zo, and I also mill my own flour from a large variety of grains/seeds/beans. I also make all the breads we consume and use the Zo for - English Muffins, burger and hot dog buns, cinnamon rolls, flatbreads, pizza dough, artisan loaves, European breads, etc... I've adapted all my old favorite recipes to the Zo.

The Zo is great when it comes to making 100% whole wheat bread. Other bread machines suggest NOT using freshly-milled flour and MOST won't make 100% whole wheat bread.

I never bake in the Zo. In fact, I normally take the dough out after it's done kneading and I prefer to control the rise in a dough-rising bucket. This is especially important when making sourdough bread because it has a much slower rise than the bread machine timing. But the Zo is WONDERFUL for all the mixing and kneading.

I've had a Bosch (a Concept) for years and like it very much. No problems with it and I love the fact that it's light to lug around, but still very heavy duty. It can knead multiple loaves of bread without flinching.

I love my Bosch for making large batches of bread or roll dough with my freshly milled flour, but I have another blender, so didn't bother getting that attachment. I have a 24 yr old Kitchen Aid stand mixer that I use for cakes and cookies, and whipping cream or egg whites. I think the Bosch could do those, too, but I'm used to using the KA and it sits out, so it's the quickest and easiest to grab.

I love my Bosch, though for single or double loaves of bread the Zojirushi is more convenient and effective. So it depends on whether you intend to use the machine exclusively for bread or want a more all-round mixer.

The Bosch has a stellar reputation for reliability and shines with heavy doughs, not just breads. My fruitcake recipe is big and dense and the Bosch does an excellent job.

I have the blender attachment but if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have bothered. You don't save any space to speak of and given the cost you might was well buy a separate blender of choice.

I haven't used a Bosch, but I understand it is similar to the Magic Mill in that it handles large quantities. I don't think that you can go wrong with either. What is nice about a machine like the Bosch or the Magic Mill is that you aren't as limited to the amount of flour you can knead, like you are with the Kitchenaid or you would be with a Zojirushi Bread Machine or some other bread machine. The Magic Mill will knead over 20 cups of flour. I assume that the Bosch will too.
