Embird is an additional program that does many things and is completely separate from the reader writer box thing you are inquiring about...so you don't get confused. Your main concern is getting the downloaded design from the computer to the box and card and then to the embroidery machine. Just about any brand box will do that and remember to ask for a .pes formatted card that your machine uses. These boxes work similar to a computer external disk or floppy drive. I would first thoroughly learn the ins and outs of your machine and practice page by painful page. It will pay dividends later. You will also find out what type needles and extra hoops your machine uses. You also need extra hoops, needles, machine embroidery thread and various stabilizers in addition to the box so you may have to take the box cost into consideration.

I'm sorry I find this whole thing odd... I think it's great he has put his life together and is doing well, but it would be like having a celebration party for a philanderer who hasn't had an affair for a year. Must a recovering alcholic be patted on the back and given celebration parties when he doesn't drink? I could see his AA friends doing something special, but I didn't know that sobriety was celebrated like this by many others outside of that group. I would be tempted to bring a small gift for his kid (well, just becuase it's nice to bring little kids stuff) and leave it at that.

I love those pictures with the beautiful curtains. But looking closely at my room, I'm not sure I have room for sheers to the side of the windows. The space between the window trim and room corners is not very big. If I do do curtains, would I only do them over the window behind the love seat? Not around the two windows on the wall with the bed next to the night stands right? I am definitely going to move the art. Building for the CATS, that bedding is very pretty! The lamps are also very nice... but would I have to get an electrician? I'm not sure I want to get into that... I had an electrician come last year and move a plug 12 inches in my media room and it was very difficult, time consuming, and costly b/c of the way our attic is constructed. nosoccermom, I do like the glass table, some of those overstock ones look nice. They might pick up the color of the little birds in my other table. I really like the idea of the ceramic garden stool too and I'm looking for one that would pick up the sofa colors... ingrid, not too critical at all. Do many gift card providers charge an activation fee? I consider that a lousy trick. Sometimes when standing beside a display of dozens of gift cards near the checkout, I suggest to others in the line that the card providers want me to give them currency that can be used in 3,000 or so stores in town and they give me an equal number of dollars' value on a card that can be used in only their store. There sure is a benefit there for them - but I don't see one for me, and if there's no benefit for me, they can keep their card till it rots. I'd rather give my friend funds that are useful in any of the 3,000 or so local stores than restricting her/him to one that can be used in only one store. I've asked a number of relatives and friends whether they'd be interested in my supporting a charity or group feeding the hungry, seeking justice, peace, women's rights, etc. in their honour, and several have agreed, some rather enthusiastically so. Some have said that they'll suggest that some their families do the same, as it relates to the spirit of the Christmas season - and most of us have little need of more stuff.
