don't know what happened to my original response! but i did go check out the link, and i signed up for free, and then downloaded dozens of decorative fonts and shapes, which i use a lot in my projects, would be very useful for greetings cards. plus i downloaded some cookbooks, and a craft projects book. there's one cookbook for 111 recipes for eggs, looks interesting! and one with camping recipes plus the usual cookies, and a cheesecake book......and more. i liked the link, myself. kudzu

Check your favorite craft store (if they're not a national chain like Michaels, etc.) to see who their supplier is. I just found out last week that Crafts 2000- a super-huge, wonderful, two-hours-in-here-would-never-be-enough kind of store- where I've been shopping for five years, has Pat Catans as their supplier. (So all stores that have them as their supplier have the same sales, but not the same name!) I just got their sale flyer and they have a lot of scrapbooking supplies on sale- plain colors 15 for $1.00, Provo Craft patterned papers 5 for $1.00 for example. (Sounds like a good deal to me, but I'm new at this.) It's worth checking into!

You might try the scrapbooking store, or you can look up Constructive Playthings- www.cptoys.com. It's an educational company that carries all kind of stuff for teachers. They have a package of paper that is for multicultural skin tones. It is construction paper weight, and comes in packs of 72 sheets of 12 shades, for $6.

the only way i know to transfer from monitor to paper is , get tracing paper, graph paper, masking tape, pencil , a ruler to measure the monitor and one for the paper and a hard flat surface. tape the graph paper down flat. cut the tracing paper a little larger and tape over the graph paper . you need a point on the image for a reference point to the paper. this point will be at the intersection of the two widest points on the image, one line from top to bottom the other left to right. from that point you can measure to other parts of the image and transfer to scale on the paper. measure enough points so you will feel confident in drawing the curves. when it's done you can cut the tracing paper and use it as a template. it's kind of like doing a dot to dot picture but you must first lay down the dots. if anyone knows of an easier way please send it to me.
