I just cut strips of newspaper 3-4" wide and maybe 12" long. (Cannot remember exact measurements because the strips are at work and I'm at home.) Then I take a fish food container, the kind that tropical fish flakes come in. Wrap the newspaper strip around the can with newspaper sticking out a bit on the bottom. Fold in the edges of the newspaper on the bottom of the container and tape. Tape it once on the side. Slide off. I use about 3 layers of newspaper. I'm sure you could use any kind of can or jar to wrap around adjusting the size of your newspaper accordingly. It's actually easy and I would not consider it origami.

If you scroll through Barbara Diane's blog site, you will find the directions for making these wreaths. They can be made 4 in, 6 inch, 8 inch or 12 inch. Mine is an 8 inch wreath. I used the newspaper pots and they were acceptable. The only problem I encountered was that some of them were not adequately secured at the bottom.

Hi! Yes, I think Bona high traffic. Or maybe that was the sealer they used. I think they used Dura Seal. Just found this sample sheet in my kitchen draw. We used the middle sample. QC 11 Hope this helps! We put a matte finish on the floors. Very little shine to it. It’s great but note that if you go that route. You can’t really scoot things that would scratch across the wood. It removes the matte and you will see a sheen streak in the right lighting or angle. Just a heads up if you go that route. Not too big of a deal, if you know in advance. We pic up and slide anything a tad heavy. Pads for bar stools etc.. Best of luck! Lmk if you have any more questions 😊
