I second SCS. The gallery is full of wonderful ideas. I usually buy my white cardstock from Office Depot (zerox brand). I get white envelopes in bulk on e-bay once every few years. I buy vellum and other cardstock from Michael's with coupons. Their white isn't thick or smooth enough. You can get rubber stamps anywhere Michaels, Jo-Ann's, stamping-up (home based business from a consultant). Embossing powders and heat tools are fun. There are a ton of cutting products on the market - punches and dies and fancy edged scissors. Cuttlebug makes wonderful embossing folders if you are into that type of texture. Ribbons. Clear and tinted paper glazes. Scoring tools to make perfect folds. Glitter & glitter glue (stickles). Coloring tools - chalks, shimmering chalks, colored pencils, metallic pencils, markers, watercolors, shimmering watercolors, etc. It depends how fancy you want to get and how much you want to spend. Contact a stampingup demo and purchase a catalog ($10) - there are lots of ideas in it and product info or buy a cardmaker or papercrafts magazine from Michaels to get ideas and info on products.

Glad to see you again Lia. The garland that I made into the wreaths was from my after Christmas sales last year. I can't remember where I got it but there were two styles, one that looked like tiny leaves and the other was more like a tree branch. I think I got 3 wreaths out of each one. I had a few strings of the beads from the beaded tree dept but ended up string the rest myself. I had to string them and then put glue on my finger and wipe it along the string to get the beads to stay in place where I wanted them to on the wreath. My DS cut the circles in the cardstock using my old circle cutter. the newer Fiscar types just don't seem to work for me. Glad your liked it.

I haven't seen any stamping on Mulberry before. I knew I wanted the paper but tried to use a vellum on top and that didn't look right so I just tried it out. I was happy with how it turned out. The crinkled paper I got in package of Decorative papers by Black Ink from Michael's. I think there was only one sheet in the pack. I did have some other very nice gold papers which I used on some of the cards. I also got some gold tissue that has dull/shiny surface from the tissue area at Michael's. I cut it to the size I wanted and then crumpled it up into a tight ball in my hand and then spread it out flattening it. I used the same techniques on cards a couple of years ago.

I recently made 50th anniversary invitations and used translucent vellum inside the card. It was placed over a current picture of the couple. I used Scotch Permanent Adhesive Glue Stick. It worked great. It goes on "purple" and dries clear. There was no clumping under the vellum as I have seen in other glue sticks. Scotch also has a resticable adhesive glue stick. It works in the same way the Scotch (3M) "stickies" do. I love working with both products. Hope this was helpful and not too late. I just found this site yesterday and I am hooked!!!! Debbie
