Glenda, I've tried them at friends house, haven't yet ordered them. Several of my friends use them successfully. I asked my Dr about them, he said half the products fail to satisfy. He said this one was ranked the highest in it's success rate. And you can use them in non-smoking areas! As it's a vapor not smoke.

It has worked successfully for my daughter. It's called vaping not smoking. The patches did not work for her at all. This the ONLY thing that has worked for her.

Has anyone tried Chantix? I was a pack a day smoker for many years. I did not want to give up smoking, but my daughter was having a baby and I would be watching her when she went back to work...provided I stopped smoking !
The Chantix worked great for me. One good thing is that you can continue smoking and little by little you loose the desire until finally (was almost 2 months for me) I did not even want to look at another cigarette. It has been 2 years now and I still have no desire. I know everyone is different, but I would ask the doctor about Chantix. I am now so happy that I can enjoy watching my beautiful little grandaughter !!

Good for you. It's one thing to make an adult decision about whether or not to smoke and another to willingly subject a child to that. How wonderful that your love and motherly instincts trumped that addicting habit. My daughter was raised in our non-smoking household and was disdainful of smokers...until she got into college and got hooked after a year of living with a smoking room mate. I offered to pay for any treatment that would get her off it, but she said: "I'll stop when I need to." Then she fell in love with a guy who had allergies and quit cold turkey. That was 6 years ago. She now has two babies that she is very protective of and I never worry about her smoking again.

They do work, and they are wonderful! DH hasn't reached the point of wanting to quit, but he uses the e-cigs when he can't get out to smoke. When he has been in the hospital, he has used them.

They weren't around when I quit 7 years ago, so I used the Nicotrol Inhaler (which is the same principle). That's what helped me to quit--and I haven't had even one cigarette since.

Yes they do work, I wish I had invented them.

My daughter tried them and they have helped her but I think she was already determined to quit...New baby in the house...also there was a recent report of one blowing up and seriously injuring the smoker....The only thing I know of that could blow up is the battery...

Here is a pic of what some of them look like, there are a ton of different types. You use them how every you would use a cigarette. You can get them with nicotine or no nicotine when you buy the liquid to fill them with. The battery is on the upper half of the cig in this photo, you unscrew it, then screw it into another end which plugs into you computer or a plug in outlet. When they are charged they will last anywhere from 30 min to days depending how you use it. That big black one will last about 12 hours of average use.
