Cute!

Yes Vicky, your block arrived today. I just love it and thank you very much. Bill, you block is really nice too and thank you for the needles...we have a quilt shop that won't stock hand quilt needles because she doesn't quilt by hand so these will be used very soon as I am getting low on needles. When we were in girls scouts we made personal first aid kits in a film canister. We put needle and thread and a bandaid and I am not sure what else. We then heard that film canisters had a preservative in it. I would think a medicine bottle would work very good. I would think pharmacists would help you out and they should fit in your baggie. Maybe a cute label on it to indicate that it is not medicine. Deanna

"That's where my thread gets tight! Really tight! I have sat with it for hrs trying to figure out why but it still is too tight ." Try rotating the wheel to raise or lower the needle slightly as you pull gently on the thread. At a certain point in the cycle the tension clamps down on the thread. http://www.singerco.com/support/machine-serial-numbers will tell her when the machine was made, based on the serial number.
