Carol, I do think it's just an anomaly..just as conjoined twins are.. Here is my weird flower..but the color was great! And I just noticed for the first time..the stigma has two lobes just like yours..! Donna Strawberry Blend..

"How'd you know I love green!" I have ESP. ;) Actually, I was wondering what colors would work well with your cabinets. I am NO color expert, so take the following with a shaker or two of salt, but - the undertones (if that's the correct term) in your cabinets look orange/gold/yellow to me. Your proposed countertop material's undertones look pink. I realize monitors lie, of course. However, that's what I see, and I have read that one should be wary of assuming that, just because something presumably is a neutral, it will go with everything. I'm not sure pinkish undertones work with orange or gold ones. However, greens could work with them. Hence, my countertop suggestion. I didn't necessarily mean a true green - I was thinking in terms of a brownish green, if there is such a thing. Before, I was focused on your sink choices and failed to factor in the cabinets. I now bow before the true color experts on this forum. Let's see whether they support me or think the undertone issue is irrelevant and a non-issue.

For years I didn't care for potato chips or French fries though I liked potatoes prepared other ways, but the past few years there are times I crave them now. It's a combination of the oil/grease & salt. Rather than a certain food, I find that I now like specific dishes a lot more than I used to: stews, pot roast, sauerkraut, sausage, biscuits & gravy (notice the interest in heavy fat foods?) A kind of sad thing, I LOVED chocolate to the point of once buying & eating a whole BOX of Hershey's bars, & going to chocolate conventions for a few years. Now I've lost my taste for chocolate; I don't hate it, but I don't care if I have it or not, & when I do have a piece, it doesn't taste all that great. Calories I don't have to worry about, I suppose. It's also given me empathy for older people who have lost their taste for food.

Hi! Your rooms look wonderful! I especially like how well the Wythe Blue looks next to the Fernwood Green. I also love Wythe Blue, just finished our entire basement in it! My basement opens to our eat-in dining area/ kitchen which is BW Bamboo Shoot. It looks OK, but doesn't blend as nice as your two colors do.
