I usually buy the store brand. Its smooth and good too! Better than Jif! Otherwise I like Peter Pan.

Haven't tried Reese's yet, I get Simply Jif. Also have almond butter from Vitamin Cottage that I like. The Reese's sounds really good though!

I'm glad you mentioned that Glenda. I always buy Jif for no reason other than it's a habit. Next time I buy PB I hope I can remember to try Reese's. Everything I've tried that you've ever suggested has been delicious so far.

I always buy natural peanut butter. Usually our store brand. The only ingredients are peanuts and salt. Love it.

Kraft smooth here also. Smeared on my "buttered" toast.

Peter Pan. Our store only has the chunky in the largest size, so i get creamy. I used to use Kroger brand but it seems to always taste stale.

Reese's sounds really good. I don't think I have seen it though.

Kroger does not carry Calumet baking powder. I had to buy Clabber Girl. What is their problem?

Smooth and Creamy Jif.

I've bought it to feed the birds, but I've never eaten it myself. I can eat peanuts but don't like them, but never peanut butter.

Skippy Creamy for me. I have tried the Reese's too but went back to Skippy. I love it on buttered toast dipped in tea or cocoa.

I buy Kroger brand - tastes just as good as Jiff or Skippy to me.

Reese's is the absolute best but can't find it in my area any more. I used to buy it a few years ago though.

I got some "natural" a while ago ... and the oil rose to the top: had to re-mix it! Not enthused about that.

I used to be a Skippy crunchy fan, but then I realized how much sugar is in those peanut butters :(

We switched to Trader Joe's organic peanut butter. It took a little bit of getting used to, but now that I'm weaned off the sugar, I can't eat anything else. Skippy/Jif/Peter Pan tastes too sweet.

Kraft creamy

We used to eat Skippy extra crunchy. I was making my own "suet" cakes for the birds and bought the Albertson's brand because it was cheaper. Loved it, so now that's what we eat. Grandson likes creamy, I like crunchy, so there are slways 2 jars in the cupboard. The birds still like their homemade "suet" and they really need it this year with all the snow we have. Slim pickings without the bird feeders around here.

I hate peanut butter. But my family enjoys Skippy the most. The kids like it smooth and DH likes it chunky. I saw on Americas Test Kitchens recently that people prefered Skippy. Most of you seem to like Jiff so far.

All the famous brands--skippy, jif, etc.--are too sticky for me, not oily enough. Comes from having been raised on HyVee store-brand.

Once, though i found Superman peanut butter. It was just my taste.

I prefer a low fat variety, but they are few and far between. Meanwhile, I love Peter Pan crunchy. ;)

One of my favorite snacks (healthy,too) is Jif creamy PB on graham crackers.

We mostly eat whatever is on sale. Lately we've got Skippy for $1.00 for 18oz. so thats what we eat. My husband really perfers Adams but I can't stand that. We've noticed that you have to read the label carefully or you can end up with peanut butter spread that is only 65% peanuts.

I only get ones which have nothing but peanuts and salt. Recently bought an organic one which had palm oil added. If I had noticed, I would not have bought it.

Skippy Crunchy is my fave. And my job buys it (1/2 creamy too) by the case for anybody that uses it at work. The neat thing (for me) is that they only provide forks and spoons to use with it, so the guys always open a new jar with about 1/5 of the jar remaining. Sounds odd, I know, but they wouldn't keep track of a butter knife for a day in this shop. So, I get the leftovers for free! I save pine cones cover with pb, and cover with bird seed for the grandkids to make and hang from our trees. also use it to keep the dogs kong toy full. I feel better about all that then just throwing it away. Don't even get me started on the amount of bread they waste, that comes home to feed the birds too.

Jif is my favorite. I don't like that they add high frutose corn syrup to it, though. I also buy Smuckers Natural.

Skippy creamy. I buy the two jar package at Costco. The way my son goes through it, PB& J everyday, I go through the two jars pretty fast. I also like it on toast for breakfast. I use to eat bacon and PB sandwiches. Haven't had one for awhile, maybe tomorrow.

I don't eat peanut butter often but when I do its Smuckers Natural. Ingredients are just peanuts and Salt.Just had had some with crackers and noticed it had expired about 5 months ago. Time for a new one !

Peter Pan is my favorite! Tried a store brand-BLECH and Skippy (okay, nothing great) when PP was recalled. Seems like when I'm pregnant I eat a lot more PB then normal-need the protein maybe? So thankfully the Safeway (but not Giant) here has started selling PeterPan again-YUMMY. We've gone through 2 jars already (one big, one small).DD loves Peanut butter too.

I just checked the label of our Trader Joe's peanut butter and this is what it said -

"Organic dry roasted blanched Valencia peanuts, salt, facility processes tree nuts"

So I asked my husband what the heck does that mean? He tells me that some people are only allergic to nuts off trees (like walnuts & pecans). Peanuts are legumes, grown on the ground. So the label is warning people who are sensitive to nuts on trees that the facility also processes these.

Well, who knew??

Fresh Market has grind your own peanuts and almonds. I prefer the almond butter, but WHAT A PRICE!

When they had to pull peanutbutter from the grocery shelves, I was hoping they'd restock the same things.

However, my favorite is Peter Pan's Whipped Peanutbutter which my store no longer carries. Wonder if PP chose not to make it any longer.

FYI: The whipped kind has fewer calories and less fat than the reduced fat brands. And it tastes and cooks the same to me.

Smuckers or Holsum Natural. Smooth for baking, chunky for eating. Once you stir it, it stays stirred forever.
