Help with Master Bedroom & Bath

I am in the middle of redoing my Master bath. I need to pick a fabric for 2 valances for the bathroom windows (floral w/roses along the style of Ralph Lauren country style cabbage roses) that will have a cream color background w/roses - burgundy tones. I want the fabric to have a touch of blue as well since I picked up an adorable chandelier w/blue crystals. The tile is ivory/sand & burgundy (see link). I want to pick a fabric that I can eventually use for bedroom valances and comforter but am having trouble finding just the right thing. My bedroom walls are currently Phillipsburg blue (BM) and I have RL comforter w/dark blue background w/ floral pattern but I find it all to be too dark. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Fabric Guru? eBay? Fabric stores in your area? Calico Corners? Country Curtains? Where have you been looking?

I went to Calico Corners,Country Curtains & e-bay. I will check Fabric Guru. I also went through many fabric books at HD Expo. Maybe I am being too picky but I want to find something that I love. From the selection of fabric, I will pick wall color, possible coordinating wallpaper for 3 walls around tub area, Master bedroom comforter to coordinate,etc. I am going back to Calico today to have another look as well as Fabric Mill in my area. Nothing is grabbing me yet but I am sure something will. I saw these on line last night and now I want to go find them in person or get samples. What do you think of these?

Hi mama goose, Thank you very much for your help! I appreciate it! This is going to be a 4th bedroom in the house, no tub needed just a walking in shower, would be nice to have the shower and the seat within the shower. Good point, about the positioning, I imagine mainly the toilet for it to be again the LR wall, in the diagram it's just against the wall for the living room, I would imagine ideally, the shower and the toilet should be on the L/R wall, or if it's to many issues spend extra money and move the bathroom to t he corner away from the living room? About interference between bathroom and bedroom doors, the bedroom door could open toward the living room instead of toward the bedroom (which I'm guessing is not good design?). Pull out storage for the bathroom sounds great! Thank you

I am not sure if you have Angie's List out there? We also have found that nextdoor.com is a great place for homeowners to find local contractors who have worked on their neighbor's homes (also not sure if that is outside of California). Referrals from family and friends. You can do a search on Facebook too believe it or not!

Our property is some what pie shaped, with the widest part towards the east end. It is also wooded with most of the trees on the south side. So the best views will be to the east. We plan to place the house running from the northeast to the southwest to let more light in. The garage will be about 20' from the north property line. We've actually worked with a architect in the past, but they have since closed up shop. It was a struggle as they couldn't get what we were after; an front entry that doesn't open into the living room (i.e privacy) , a not so open floor plan and finally a plan that doesn't looks like every other house. I'm curious what are the other problems you see?

We're adding a slightly larger master suite (20x26) that also includes reconfiguring the original space to create a hallway entrance next to an existing hall bath. Our architect configured the space so that the new master bath abuts the existing hall bath, presumably to minimize the plumbing work etc, as in the 2nd sketch by @er612. She also aligned the new master closet with the existing space which just helps as a sound buffer. The rest of the layout was decided based on views - optimal placement of windows, strategic placement of the bathroom door, having wall space for a TV if you want that.
