artificial Christmas tree recommendations
Comments (3)I always put a real tree in my formal living room, but I wanted a new artificial one for the game room and I found one that I really liked at Lowes. It is a 9ft. slim fir style w/ a few pine cones, no lights( they did have same tree w/ lights) this tree is decorated in birds & houses. I have been puttig off this purchase because I couldn't find one that looked real, but this one sure does.It was on sale for $150.00....See MoreHow to add more flocking to a pre-lit artificial Christmas tree?
Comments (3)You can get a paste-like flocking at a craft store like Joanne, and I think there's a spray, too. This year about 2 weeks before christmas I bought one for half price at Hobby Lobby. Linda c...See MoreBuying an artificial Christmas Tree

We always had Noble Firs but by the time Christmas Eve arrived no matter the care, misting and watering, the needles were just too dry to turn the lights on. Four years ago, after research and comments on this forum, I ordered a 9 1/2 foot tree from Tree Classics. My husband built a base that secured the tree and elevated it to the height I needed. It is beautiful, in four pieces, prelit, and most everyone that sees it thinks it is real. Tree Classics sends a huge box of sample branches and you can actually see and touch the different varieties. If you order, the $20+ fee is credited to your purchase. It is an extremely heavy tree but I think it will outlive me; I consider it a great investment....See Morequiltglo
